Ronaldo scored an amazing five goals against Granada, the first time he has scored more than four in a game for Real Madrid. He is in the mood for scoring and the Real front line seems to finally be working as a team. Gareth Bale has been accused of not playing for the team this season, however, he now seems to be in sync with his fellow strikers and there will certainly be many goals this weekend.
Both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid face very difficult away games. Atletico have to travel to Malaga, who are known for their good performances at home. Barcelona must go to Sevilla, who are a very hungry team, with a great chance of getting into the Champions League. Barca striker Neymar is currently experiencing a goal drought and we don’t expect that to change this weekend. Barcelona are in a great position to win the league, however, they will be lucky to scrape a win this weekend.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, are at home to Eibar, a team who are still not safe from relegation. A Real victory is almost a foregone conclusion, so the odds on Real winning will be very small. The interesting bets for La Liga fans will be on who scores and how many goals they can achieve. We can see Ronaldo scoring at least another hat trick to add to his collection, especially after last week’s five goals, which gave him a big lead in the race to become La Liga’s top scorer. Expect a lot of goals this weekend at the Bernabeu.
