If you asked me this at the beginning of the season, I would have said Arsenal hands down. Southampton have gone about their business wisely, making massive profits and investing in quality. They were the laughing stock of the transfer window, but no one is laughing anymore! It seems to be same old Arsenal, and I expect them to play a completely different side as Wenger has done over the years. These matches are often dependant upon the teamsheets, I expect Koeman to have a strong starting eleven which will be a tough match for Arsenal. Swansea vs Everton
Martinez will not be satisfied with the start of the season. Everton have played some good football, but, like with Spurs they seemed to suffer post Europa League blues. I think he will recognise that if he wants to succeed in the premiership he is going to have to strongly prioritise certain competitions. Swansea started off the season in some style. They have dropped off in the last couple of games but Gary Monk seems to have a strong influence on a hugely committed side. Swansea know what it takes to win this competition and will definitely be up for the challenge. Everton must rest some players and Swansea are more than capable of taking advantage.

Chelsea vs Bolton
The Capital one cup should be a trophy that Jose is eyeing up. He has a squad that allows him to completely rejuvenate his side and give the likes of Oscar, Remy, Mikel etc a run out in the side. In my opinion, Bolton stuttering form has no chance against a side full of fresh International stars. My prediction is that Chelsea will run riot, winning with ease. Bolton will be just looking to get this fixture out of the way and it could well be a case of damage limitation for Freedman.
