Milan vs Lazio
Carlos Bacca scored late on to secure three vital points for his side and relieve some pressure from the embattled Millan manager Montella. Lazio knocked three past a hapless Pescara side to make it two wins out of their opening four games. I predict an exciting game at the San Siro and am backing a score draw.

Bologna vs Sampdoria
Bologna stood little chance of collecting any points in Naples despite tieing the game midway through the second half the home side looked far superior. Sampdoria will be kicking themselves after holding Milan at bay for almost the entire game before conceding very late on to finish the game empty handed. Pretty much nothing separates these two sides hence why I am going for a draw.

Atalanta vs Palermo
Atalanta’s dire season continued as they were pummeled by a more organised Cagliari side in Sardinia eventually losing 3-0 to remain among the bottom three. Palermo held out for a draw against fellow relegation candidates Crotone and I reckon the home side have enough to win this.

Chievo vs Sassuolo
Chievo’s fine start to their season continued as they showed real fighting spirit to score two in the last 15 minutes of the game to beat Udinese on their travels. Two quick fire goals gave Sassuolo a comfortable 2-0 win over Genoa. I am predicting an exciting game which will end in a draw.

Empoli vs Inter
Empoli will be pleased with the hard earned point in Torino on Sunday while Inter bounced back from an embarrassing midweek defeat to Europa League minnows Hapoel Beer Sheva to down reigning Italian champions Juventus 2-1 at the San Siro. De Boer’s side showed great character immediately replying to Juve’s second half goal to score a quick brace and secure three vital points. I expect the Nerazzurri to win this.

Genoa vs Napoli
Genoa suffered their first loss of the season on their travels to Sassuolo while despite a lackluster first half display Napoli came alive in the second half to see off a stubborn Bologna side to climb to the top of the standings. This will be a close game which I reckon Napoli can win.

Juventus vs Cagliari
Some pundits would have called Allegri and his Juventus squad cocky last weekend for failing to impose themselves at the San Siro and eventually losing 2-1 to a more motivated Inter to end their 100% start to the season. Cagliari fans will be delighted with their 3-0 trashing of Atalanta as the Sardinians look to avoid a relegation scrape come May. The visitors to face the brunt of Juve’s wrath.

Pescara vs Torino
Pescara were made to pay for missing a first half penalty as Lazio came back with a vengeance in the second half to win 3-0. Torino will be annoyed for allowing Empoli too much possession as the visitors eventually held out for a draw. I am backing a bore draw.

Roma vs Crotone
Moments after hitting the post in Florence Roma were punished by some nice build-up play and a decisive strike going in off the post for a La Viola win. Crotone are one of two sides in the Serie A who have yet to win a single game as the newcomers look to be heading straight back down to the lower division come May. Home win expected.

Udinese vs Fiorentina
After a last minute win over Milan two weeks ago Udinese got a taste of their own medicine as Chievo scored very late on to punish some sloppy defending. Fiorentina rode their luck and struck late to earn three vital points against Roma.
