Juventus vs Sampdoria
A hungover second string Juventus side were beaten on their travels to Verona however this will do little to damp their ongoing Scudetto celebrations. Sampdoria were humiliated in front of their home crowd by city rivals Genoa in what has been a disastrous season for il Doria. Home win expected in what will be a party atmosphere at the Juventus stadium.

Milan vs Roma
Milan limped past a ten-man Bologna side thanks to a first half Bacca penalty as the Rossoneri band will be hoping for nothing more than the end to this miserable season. Roma overpowered a fighting Chievo side at the Olimpico to keep their slim chances of second place alive, even though Napoli now seem all but certain of finishing above the Romans. Spalletti’s side have been on an incredible run of form since his return to his club so I am backing them to win this.

Napoli vs Frosinone
After beating Torino on their travels, Napoli have all but secured the vital second place in the standings and automatic qualification in the Champions League. Despite a number of determined performances Frosinone did not do enough to ensure Serie A survival. Home win expected..

Sassuolo vs Inter
Sassuolo have had their best season to date, all but qualifying to next year’s Europa League, an impressive feat considering they were only promoted to the Serie A three seasons ago. Inter will be kicking themselves for all those silly dropped points as Champions League football slipped through their fingers and Mancini’s side will have to settle for Europe’s second tier of football. I reckon the home side can win this.

Chievo vs Bologna
Despite being outplayed on their travels to Rome, Chievo will be delighted with their 9th place finish in the standings and will undoubtedly aim for European football next season. Bologna just about escaped the relegation scrape this season and the Rossoblu will be planning on strengthening their squad over the summer. I am backing the home side to win this.

Empoli will feel slightly cheated after being beaten at the San Siro in what was an extremely close game with Inter while Torino will looking forward to the summer to regroup after a poor season by their much better standards. I predict a close game which will end in a draw.

Genoa vs Atalanta
Genoa thumped local rivals Sampdoria to earn the bragging rights for the foreseeable future while Atalanta could only manage a draw over lowly Udinese despite dominating possession. Even though just four points separate these two sides the home sides form should be enough to see them end their campaign with three points.

Lazio vs Fiorentina
Just like last year Lazio have peaked late, this term slightly too late to pose a serious charge up the table to secure Europa League football as they will have to settle for an 8th place finish. Fiorentina seem to be running out of steam as they were held at home by lowly Palermo, after a long and fairly positive season as La Viola aim to finish in 5th, despite Sassuolo breathing down their necks. I am backing the home side to win this.

Palermo vs Verona
Palermo have their destiny in their own hands as they sit just one point above the bottom three before they face bottom side Verona, a win will obviously secure the Sicilians Serie A future. Beating reigning champions Juventus last weekend will be little consolation for Verona who were the first side to be relegated this season. Must win for the home side.

Udinese vs Carpi
Udinese have become a shadow of the side that once gave all the big guns a run for their money however after a dismal season sit just four points above the bottom three. Carpi need a miracle to stay up as they have struggled to keep up with the rest of the pack. I reckon a draw is on the cards.
