Lazio were 2-0 within the opening 15 minutes as Juventus always looked in control and Simone Inzaghi’s men were outplayed. Chievo were thumped on their home soil by an in form Fiorentina side and I reckon they are facing another defeat on Saturday afternoon.

Inter vs Pescara
Inter won their sixth game Serie A game on the trot as they try and regain lost ground in their hunt for an elusive top three finish. Lowly Pescara lost 1-3 on their home soil to remain rooted to the foot of the standings. Home win expected.

Torino vs Atalanta
Torino were second best on Sunday afternoon as they lost 2-0 on their travels to Bologna while Atalanta did well to beat a struggling Sampdoria side. I reckon a draw is on the cards.

Cagliari vs Bologna
Cagliari’s recent good run of form, which has seen them climb up to safe mid-table position, came to an end at the Olimpico when a superior Roma side beat them comfortably. Bologna’s recent form has also seen them move clear of the relegation zone and they will hope to survive another season in the Serie A. I predict a close game but the home side should pip this.

Crotone vs Empoli
Strugglers Crotone’s fighting spirit paid off as they held a tough Genoa side to a 2-2 draw in what was an entertaining spectacle. Empoli will be delighted with their slim 1-0 win over Udinese as they moved 11 points clear of the bottom three. I reckon a draw is on the cards.

Fiorentina vs Genoa
Fiorentina seem to be hitting top form at just the right time as they made easy work of Chievo while the same cannot be said for Genoa who have been struggling in recent weeks after downing the likes of Juve and Milan just a few weeks before. Home win expected.

Despite being 14 points clear of the bottom three Sampdoria’s fans will not be too pleased with their sides’ form while Roma continue to impress after an impressive home win over Cagliari. I expect another win for Spalletti’s men.

Sassuolo vs Juventus
Sassuolo won just their 7th game of the season last weekend in what has been a disappointing campaign for Di Francesco’s side who have struggled to compete on two fronts. Juventus made easy work of Lazio on their home soil to maintain their place at the top of the Serie A. I am backing Allegri’s men to win again.

Udinese vs Milan
Udinese lost out to a lone second half goal in Atalanta while Milan’s poor start cost them dearly as they lost 1-2 to Napoli at the San Siro to slide down to 7th in the standings, albeit with a game in hand. This will be a close encounter but I am backing Montella’s men to get back to winning ways.

Napoli vs Palermo
Napoli’s flying start saw them go 0-2 up within the opening 10 minutes which proved to be enough as they beat Milan to keep the pressure on Roma and Juventus. Palermo were punished for a rather toothless display as they were beaten by a second half Joao Mario goal and are now 11 points from safety.
