Chievo vs Fiorentina
Despite taking the lead half way through the first half Chievo were always playing second fiddle to a superior Inter side as they eventually lost 3-1 at the San Siro. Fiorentina were superb as downed reigning champions Juventus in Florence to the delight of their fans. I am backing an away win.

Milan vs Napoli
Milan were pretty poor on Monday night as they somehow snatched a point in Turin after playing second fiddle for most of the game. Napoli made easy work of bottom side Pescara as they won 3-1 at home to maintain their chase for a top three place. I expect a great game at the San Siro and am backing a win for Sarri’s men.

Juventus vs Lazio
Juventus lost their 4th league game of the season as they were punished for failing to take their chances and eventually lost 2-1 against a more efficient Fiorentina. Lazio came from behind to down Atalanta 2-1 at home however I feel they lack the quality to snatch even a point at the Juventus Stadium.

Bologna vs Torino
Bologna made their Serie A experience count as they won 0-1 in Crotone in what was a very close encounter. Torino will be kicking themselves for missing a first half penalty and also throwing away a two goal lead to allow Milan back into the game and drop two vital points as the game ended 2-2. I am backing a draw.

Empoli vs Udinese
Empoli played out a bore draw in Sampdoria to move eight points clear of the bottom three while Udinese have now lost two games on the trot after losing 0-1 against Roma. I predict a close game which will end in a draw.

Genoa vs Crotone
Genoa’s inconsistent season continued as they were thrashed 4-1 in Sardinia despite taking an early lead while Crotone remain rooted among the bottom three following their home loss to Bologna. Home win expected.

Palermo vs Inter
Palermo were 0-1 up within the opening nine minutes but couldn’t hold onto their league for long and were eventually beaten 4-1 by Sassuolo. Inter were denied a number of scoring opportunities by the goalkeeping heroics of Sorrentino after eventually breaking the deadlock to win 3-1 in Milan. I am backing Pioli’s side to win their sixth consecutive game.

Pescara vs Sassuolo
Newcomers Pescara are looking like hot favourites to return to Serie B next season after winning just one game this season and sitting at the bottom of the table on 9 points. Sassuolo are also having a season to forget after finishing 7th last season they currently lie in 16th place. I reckon the away side can win this.

Atalanta vs Sampdoria
Atalanta have had a great campaign to date and currently sit in 7th place after losing 2-1 at the Olimpico at the Nerazzurri look to qualify for Europa League Football come May. La Samp played out a bore draw at home to Empoli. I am backing a home win.

Roma vs Cagliari
Roma were made to work in Udine as they won by a slim 0-1 margin thanks to an early Nainggolan goal and their efforts were not helped when Dzeko missed a penalty soon after. Cagliari moved up to 10th thanks to a solid 4-1 home win over Genoa. I am backing Spalletti’s men to win this.
