Serie A season 2018-19 preview

Torino vs Atalanta

Date and time: September 26, 2pm

Location: Stadio Olimpico Di Torino

Whenever Atalanta are involved, you can imagine there will be plenty of goals. They were Serie A’s top scorers last season with a stunning 98 to their name. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men are yet to kick off their season due to Champions League participation, but they’ll be hoping to pick up where they left off. Just one clean sheet in their last six suggests Torino will have chances of their own, though.

Both Teams To Score: Yes 8/13 @ Bet365

Sampdoria vs Benevento

Date and time: September 26, 5pm

Location: Stadio Luigi Ferraris

Sampdoria have been involved in plenty of entertaining games lately, though they haven’t won them all. Only Juventus have stopped them scoring, twice in their last six games, but they seem liable to concede and score whenever they play. Benevento scored at least three goals in three of their last four games last season before promotion from Serie B.

Both Teams To Score: Yes 8/13 @ Bet365

Cagliari vs Lazio

Date and time: September 26, 5pm

Location: Sardegna Arena

Cagliari had the best goal difference of the bottom eight teams in Serie A last season. They tended not to score or concede many goals, and while we think Lazio will probably come out on top in this one, it won’t be a classic.

Both Teams To Score: No 11/10 @ Bet365

Inter vs Florentina

Date and time: September 26, 7:45m

Location: San Siro

Inter are in action for the first time since losing the Europa League final to Sevilla. Antonio Conte’s men will believe they can overturn Juventus in the title race this season, and with their strike partnership of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martínez still intact, they’ll see plenty of goals in this one. Fiorentina have only failed to score once in their last six games.

Both Teams To Score: Yes 4/5 @ Bet365

Napoli vs Genoa

Date and time: September 27, 2pm

Location: Stadio San Paolo

Napoli have scored two or more goals in three of their last five games and haven’t failed to score any less at home since June. But they have only kept four clean sheets since football returned, and Genoa will fancy chances to score having netted four against Crotone last week.

Both Teams To Score: Yes 10/11 @ Bet365

Crotone vs AC Milan

Date and time: September 27, 5pm

Location: Stadio Ezio Scida

AC Milan have been in the goals lately, ending last season in good form and starting in the same vein. They have been stronger in defence this season, too. Having conceded in seven games prior to a clean sheet on the final day last term, they’ve kept two more in all competitions since this campaign kicked off. We think they can make it a third against a Crotone side set to struggle.

Both Teams To Score: No 19/20 @ Bet365
