Inter Vs Verona
Inter were unfortunate not to leave Torino with all three points after playing over 85 minutes of normal time with ten men and conceding a late, freak, equalizer. The San Siro side will be without the services of shot-stopper Handanovic when Serie A newcomers Verona, make the short journey to Milan. Incredibly, the visitors sit above the home side in the standings and maintained their superb start to the season by pulling off an impressive comeback at home. Inter to bring the visitors back down to earth.

Napoli Vs Torino
Napoli were convincingly downed on their travels to Rome on Friday night, however remain second in the standings but will be boasted following a positive Champions League away victory on Tuesday. Torino will kick themselves for allowing Inter back into the game after having a numerical advantage for almost the entire game. Despite Napoli’s congested fixture list, I am backing a home win.

Bologna Vs Livorno
Bologna fans will be in a complete state of shock after seeing their side lose to fellow relegation candidates Sassuolo. Captain Diamanti really has his work cut out if he is to stir his side to safety as they once again failed to take their chances. Livorno will also be disappointed after throwing away a hard fought comeback through a reckless challenge in the box, leading to a late minute penalty and defeat, as they travel to Bologna looking to improve on their current league position.

Catania Vs Sassuolo
Catania succumbed to yet another defeat on their travels to Cagliari following the sending off of Legrottaglie five minutes before half- time, when his side were still 1-1. Sassuolo will be pleased with their home win over fellow relegation candidates Bologna as they linger on the perimeter of the drop zone. Catania’s season seems to be getting from bad to worse and only a home win will do in order to restore some faith among the home fans, as the look to start distancing themselves from the bottom three.

Chievo Vs Fiorentina
Chievo were defeated by the control the goal scoring prowess of Gilardino as the Italy International netted a double to send Chievo packing. Fiorentina pulled off one of the comebacks of the season after beating the reigning champions 4-2 in Florence following a second half resurgence led by star man Giuseppe Rossi. Even though La Viola have a an easy Europa League fixture on Thursday night I predict that the fatigue will start getting to them and they will have to contend with a draw.

Juventus Vs Genoa
Juventus are struggling at the moment as they threw away a two goal, half time lead to leave Florence with their tails between their legs and most pundits are calling for Conte to change tactics. The tactician will not be panicking just yet and will see this as an ideal chance for his side to bounce back. Genoa will be pleased with their recent performances, including their recent home win thanks to a Gilardino double. Despite their good form I reckon they stand little chance of leaving the Juventus Stadium with any points!

Parma Vs Milan
Parma were unable to hold out for a draw as they were defeated on their travels to Verona. Milan will be pleased that new signing Birsa has had such a positive impact after he scored the lone goal to secure an important home win over Udinese. The Rossoneri will also be boasted by the return of star man Kaka, who put on a scintillating mid-week display when Barcelona visited the San Siro. Tough match to call but I reckon Milan have enough quality upfront to grab all three points.

Udinese Vs Roma
Udinese’s slow start to the season continues as coach Guidolin struggles to find the right balance in his side which everyone knows are capable of playing fantastic football. Roma are now the only team in top flight European to boast a perfect start to their season, as well as the best defence in Europe. Rudi Garcia will urge his team on and will be looking towards 23 year old Pjanic to fill the boots of club legend Totti who is out with a hamstring injury. Roma’s run to continue against this inconsistent Udine side.

Lazio Vs Cagliari
Lazio were poor as they succumbed to an away defeat on their travels to a solid Atalanta side as their congestion of fixtures takes it’s toll on their limited squad. Cagliari sit in a comfotarble mid-table position as they continued their fine run of form with a home win over Catania. The Sardinians are proving to be a tough side to crack this season and I predict that they will be able to grab a point in Rome.
