Chievo Vs Atalanta
Chievo were soundly beaten on their travels to Sicily last weekend, while Atalanta will be pleased with their home win over Udinese to secure their second win of the season. Neither side has been overly impressive in these opening rounds, that’s why I’m backing a score draw.

Inter Vs Roma
Inter were held on their travels to Cagliari last weekend as they conceded a late equaliser which went in via a wicked deflection. The Nerazzuri host a buoyant Roma team who to date are the only Serie A side who have managed to maintain a 100% record. That being said, the team from the capital have yet to face any of the big names. This will be another tough test for Mazarri’s men and I am backing them to end the Romans march.

Parma Vs Sassuolo
Parma will be delighted with their last second equaliser on their travels to Florence last weekend while the visitors came from behind to secure a point when Lazio visited on Sunday afternoon. Despite Sassuolo’s recent improvement I reckon they will be leaving the Tardini stadium empty handed.

Bologna Vs Verona
Bologna were decimated on their travels to the Olimipico last weekend as they conceded five unanswered goals. Verona on the otherhand continued with their positive start to the season with a home win over fellow Serie A newcomers Livorno as they sit with 10 points in the standings. Bologna will want to bounce back big time as they look to improve on their 18th place in the standings.

Catania Vs Genoa
Catania will be extremely relieved to have won their first game of the season as they stumbled out of the bottom three. Genoa were defeated on their home turf when a bruised Napoli side visited in Gamesweeks 6. I predict the Sicilians will secure their second win on the trot.

Napoli Vs Livorno
Napoli bounced back following their unexpected draw at home to Sassuolo in Gameweek 5 to win on their travels to Genoa last weekend. However, Rafa’s side were soundly beaten by a dominant Arsenal side at the Emirates in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Livorno were beaten 2-1 when they visited Verona last weekend, however I’m sure this will not dispirit them as they sit in mid-table with 8 points. Home win expected here.

Sampdoria lost at the San Siro by a single goal to remain among the bottom three while Torino were beaten by city rivals Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin. The visitors have had a much better start then La Samp who I am sure will do their utmost to get a win here.

Udinese Vs Cagliari
Udinese were soundly beaten on their travels to Atalanta last weekend as Guidolin’s side struggle to play the fast flowing, attacking football they have been renowned for under his tenure. Cagliari will be thankful for the goalkeeping heroics of Agazzi as they managed to peg back a tough Inter side through a late equaliser. Home win predicted.

Juventus Vs Milan
Sunday evening sees the clash between Italy’s two most successful clubs when Milan travel to the Juventus stadium in what is likely to be an explosive fixture. The home side have had a good start to their domestic campaign however Conte will be far from pleased with their Champions League performances following two draws. The Serie A champions early elimination and now face Real Madrid in two back to back fixtures. The Rossoneri have been far from perfect this term, both domestically and in Europe, and face this wounded Juventus side without their star man Balotelli. I predict a comfortable win for the home side.

Lazio Vs Fiorentina
Lazio were held on their travels to bottom side Sassuolo last weekend while Fiorentina were held at home following a very late equaliser by Parma’s Okaka. Both these sides seem to be struggling to cope with the congestion of domestic and Europa League fixtures and both face gruelling away fixtures in Eastern Europe on Thursday night. Considering this I reckon Lazio will have enough to win over this fatigued and limited Viola side.
