Chievo vs Sampdoria
Chievo were trounced by a Miccoli masterclass on their travels to Palermo, while Sampdoria were unlucky not to hold Napoli following a penalty, the foul of which appeared to be outside the box. Chievo have had a poor start to their campaign and currently sit in 18th place, while Sampdoria have returned to the Serie A in style and that is why I am going for an away win!

Genoa vs Palermo
Genoa did well to keep a clean sheet and leave Udinese with a point on Sunday while Palermo finally won their first game of a season following a very slow start to their Serie A season. While both these teams are capable of scoring  goals Genoa should pip this in front of their home fans.

Roma vs Atalanta
Both these teams were battered last weekend in their respective games. Roma were 3-0 down after 20 minutes against Juventus in a first half which could have easily ended 6-0, while Atalanta succumbed to a shock home thrashing against Torino in which they conceded four goals in 15 minutes. Roma will fancy their chances against a team who are still finding their feet in the Serie A.

Catania vs Parma
Catania were thrashed on their travels to Bologna in Week 6 while Parma battled hard to secure an important point against the Rossoneri. This will be a close game in which both teams will play cautious football, both looking to grab at least a point.

Fiorentina vs Bologna
La Viola’s positive run to the season came to an end as they lost to an improving Inter side at the San Siro, while Bologna put in a convincing performance to win comfortably at home. Gilardino, a former Fiorentina striker, is on great form however his heroics might not be enough.

Pescara vs Lazio
Pescara won their second game on the trot and seem to be playing with a lot of confidence. Lazio also won their Week 6 fixture however struggled considerably against an improving Siena side. With Lazio playing on Thursday night the fatigue might take it’s tole and that is why I am going for a score draw.

Siena vs Juventus
Siena were unfortunate not to leave Rome with a point last Sunday and Serse Cosmi’s men are still brimming with confidence following an away win against Inter. While the reigning Serie A champions are playing some great football I predict that they will have to pull all the stops to leave Siena with all three points.

Torino vs Cagliari
Il Toro fans will not remember the last time their team played such exciting football and they will be extremely keen for their team to keep up the momentum as they entertain bottom side Cagliari who have been extremely poor so far this season. I predict a home win.

Milan vs Inter
Both these Serie A powerhouses have had a tough start to their campaigns, however Milan have been poorer then their cross town rivals. You can be sure that this derby will be as intense as those in recent years with neither team keen on losing. However, considering each team’s form I am going for an ‘away’ win.

Napoli vs Udinese
Napoli maintained their extremely positive start to the season with another win against a solid Sampdoria side. Udinese have had a poor start to their campaign following the wholesale departure of their stars this summer and I believe they have very little chance of leaving Naples with any points.Â
