Bologna will be feeling extremely aggrieved following their home defeat on Sunday afternoon when Torino visited the Renato Dall’Ara following a number of controversial refereeing decisions. Milan also have mounting problems after they were beaten by Napoli at the San Siro in what was a thrilling encounter. Star front man Balotelli had a night to forget after he missed his first penalty in his professional a career and was also sent off after the final whistle for dissent. Considering the Rossoneri will be without Super Mario and his striking partner, El Shaarawy through injury, I am expecting a tough match for the visitors.

Chievo put on a determined display as they secured their first win of the season and have now collected four points in as many matches. Juventus were unfortunate not to have won by a bigger margin agaisnt a determined Verona side at the Juventus stadium and were pushed to the very last minute by the visitors. Chievo are always tough at home and might fancy their chances against a Juve side who seem to be struggling finish their chances.

Lazio were soundly beaten in the Roman derby on Sunday afternoon and ended the match with ten man following Dias’s sending off. Catania have yet to get going this season as they were held at home by Parma and sit in 19th place with just a point to their name. Home win expected here.

Livorno will be delighted with their start to the season as they deservedly sit in the to half of the table on 7 points. Cagliari were pegged back by a last minute equalizer when La Samp visited on Saturday afternoon. I wouldn’t be surprised if the home side win this!

Napoli Vs Sassuolo
Napoli’s flying start to the season continued as they claimed the scalp of fellow heavy weights Milan at the San Siro. Goalkeeper Pepe Reina put on a fantastic display to ensure his side maintained their 100% domestic record. Newcomers Sassuolo were ripped to shreds on their home soil when Inter knocked seven goals past their hapless defence in the early Sunday afternoon fixture. They remain the only team in Serie A to yet win a single point and they will almost certain be relegated. I predict a comfortable home win for Rafa’s men.

Torino pulled off an unlikely victory on their travels to Bologna last weekend while Verona played with courage at the Juventus stadium to leave empty handed but atleast with their heads held high. Tough call between these two sides who have a lot in common. I predict a score draw.

Inter Vs Fiorentina
Inter were fantastic as they demolished a poor Sassuolo side through seven unanswered goals including two from their returning hero Diego Milito. Fiorentina did well to win on their travels in Atalanta despite being without a number of key layers including Cuadrado and Gomez. Both these sides are playing fantastic football at the moment and that’s why I’m backing an exciting score draw.
