Atalanta Vs Bologna
Atalanta were held on their travels to Genoa while Bologna were held at home by Sampdoria, in what were two pretty dull encounters. With just a point between these two teams and both guaranteed safety for another season I reckon a draw is the most likely outcome.

Cagliari Vs Udinese
Cagliari almost pulled off one of the surprise results of Gameweek 33 but were denied at the death by an Insigne stunner in Naples. Udinese once again showed their worth by beating Lazio at the Stadio Friuli and leap frogging their opponents into 7th place. It must be said that Guidolin has done an excellent job with his side and will once again look to earn three points in Sardinia.

Pescara Vs Napoli
Despite a brave performance to frustrate Roma and leave the Olimpico with a point Pescara remain seven points beneath their nearest relegation rivals and doomed to Serie B football next season. Napoli were almost denied an ‘easy’ victory at home to Cagliari, in a match which has summarised the lack of the consistency they desperately need if they are to ever lift the Serie A title.

Sampdoria Vs Fiorentina
Sampdoria will be pleased to have left Bologna with a point on Sunday afternoon while Fiorentina were involved in a 7 goal thriller to see off a spirited Torino side in Florence and are now just one point off the final Champions League qualifying spot. With so much riding on these last few matches for La Viola I predict an away win here.

Chievo Vs Genoa
Chievo did ever so well to see off an improved Siena side on their travels last weekend while Genoa were disappointingly held at home by Atalanta as they remain entangled in a tough relegation fight with Siena and Palermo. Considering both teams form I predict the visitors will leave empty handed.

Palermo Vs Inter
Palermo secured an important point thanks to a great goal by youngster Ilicic and remain right in the middle of the relegation scrape, just a point from safety. Despite missing over half their first team regulars Inter managed to beat a tough Parma side at the San Siro and keep their Europa League hopes alive. Considering Inter’s injury predicament and Palmero’s need for a win, I am backing the home side.

Torino Vs Juventus
Torino almost pulled off one of the most surprising comebacks of the season but were denied at the death by a late Romulo goal, in a match which they lost by the odd goal in seven. Juventus maintained their steady march towards retaining the Serie A crown in a close win over rivals Milan in what was a tactically balanced game at the Juventus Stadium. Torino will not want to do any favours for their city rivals, however La Juve will not be taking their foot off the pedal just yet hence I predict an away win.

Roma Vs Siena
Roma were held at the Olimpico by bottom of the table side Pescara last weekend and face another side staving off relegation on their home turf. Siena were defeated at home by a solid Chievo side and still sit a point above the bottom three hence need all the points they can muster in these last few weeks. I doubt Roma will slip up again and am backing a home win.

Milan Vs Catania
Milan were defeated at the Juventus Stadium on Sunday evening and are now just a point above Fiorentina who are eyeing that all important third place finish. Catania were held in an exciting Sicilian derby against Palermo in a match in which they finished with ten men. With Balotelli back in the starting line up I can see nothing but a home win here.

Parma Vs Lazio
Parma were very unlucky to leave the San Siro empty handed last weekend when they were denied by Handanovic and the post on a number of occasions only to be hit on the break in the last 10 minutes of the game. Lazio were defeated on their travels to Udinese and have now slumped to 8th in the standings. Considering both these team’s general slump in form I am going for a bore draw.
