Chievo Vs Verona
Despite a good run of form to gain some distance from the bottom three Chievo were cut back down to size at the San Siro losing 3-0. Verona were impressive as they won by the same scoreline at home, even though they were reduced to ten men half way through the match they still managed to score two goals late on in the tie. With the home side still hovering precariously above the drop zone I reckon they can hold out for a draw.

Inter Vs Bologna
Following a couple of diabolical performances at the San Siro Inter finally sunk to a new low after allowing a weak Livorno side back into the game after taking a 0-2 lead at half time to draw 2-2. Mazzarri really has all the odds stacked against him now and will have no excuses when this Bologna side, who a fresh from a home loss to Atalanta, make the short journey north to the San Siro. The visitors remain just two points above the bottom three and I am backing the Nerazzuri to win.

Lazio Vs Sampdoria
Lazio showed real grit to dispose of a very stubborn Parma side at the Olimpico thanks to a last minute winner by Candreva, to hand the visitors their second defeat in less then a week. Mihajlovic will be pleased with his side who have improved tremendously ever since he took over a few months ago. This will be a close match and I am backing the home side to maintain their momentum and win.

Atalanta Vs Sassuolo
Atalanta did extremely well to leave Bologna with three points to maintain their 7th place in the standings. Few among the Nerazurri faithful would have predicted such as successful season as their side look likely to qualify for Europa League football next season. Newcomers Sassuolo remained in penultimate place after they were beaten at home. Home win expected.

Cagliari Vs Roma
As predicted the team from Sardinia, despite their best efforts, were beaten at the Delle Alpi stadium by a stronger Torino side. Roma have done well this season to maintain the pressure on run away league leaders Juventus. Even though the team from the Capital have almost no chance of catching up with Conte’s side, coach Garcia will not want any slip ups and that’s why I am backing an away win.

Catania Vs Torino
The once mighty Catania, who were feared on their home soil and used to regularly finish in the top half of the table, are now prime Serie B candidates for next season. Torino are one of the surprise packages of the season with the attacking trio of Immobile, Cerci and Kaddouri proving too much for most defences and can look forward to another season of Italian top flight football. Away win for Il Toro.

Fiorentina Vs Udinese
Despite Fiorentina’s long injury list Montella has managed to keep his side going and will be pleased with the point picked up at a difficult Luigi Ferraris stadium. They will now look to get back to winning ways when this weak Udinese side make the journey south. Despite their Monday night win over Catania, I predict Guidolin’s side will return empty handed since his side are still lacking the qualities of recent years and will most likely also be without Di Natale.

Parma Vs Napoli
Following a fantastic 16 match unbeaten run Parma have now lost two on the trot and coach Donadoni’s will be desperate to get his team back to winning ways and end the season on a high. They will be in for a tough night however when an in form Napoli side, fresh from a convincing 2-0 win of the reigning champions, visit the Tardini stadium. Considering that neither defence has been perfect this season and both sides boast a strong attacking front line, I am going for an away win.

Juventus Vs Livorno
The Juventus faithful will have a wait a little longer until they are crowned champions for the third consecutive year after their side was well beaten at the San Paolo. La Juve need just a handful of points to secure the title and Conte will have no doubts that his side can see off this struggling Livorno side, who even though showed real character to come back from two goals down against Inter, have been poor all season and are likely to be relegated this year. I predict a comfortable home win.

Genoa Vs Milan
Genoa were thrashed when they made the short visit to Verona last weekend in a match were they failed to take their chances after the home side played for more then 45 minutes with ten men. These has been a clear improvement in the Rossoneri camp who have picked up 7 points in three games following a very rough start under the guidance of coach Clarence Seedorf. Expect a close encounter, however I am sticking my neck out and backing a Milan victory.
