Juventus vs Lazio
Juventus lost just their second game of the season as a second string squad was undone by a determined Parma side at the Tardini. Despite playing for over 30 minutes with ten men Lazio still managed to put four past a hapless Empoli side at the Olimpico. With Juventus playing a tough mid-week Champions League game Lazio will fancy their chances of returning to Rome with atleast a point. Considering all of the facts I predict a historic away win for Pioli’s side.

Sassuolo vs Torino
Even though Sassuolo lost to Atalanta last weekend they are still 13 points clear from the relegation zone in what has been much improved second season in the Serie A. Despite losing two of their star players last summer Torino have still managed to surpass all expectations and proudly sit 7th in the standings with captain Glik leading his side admirably. I predict a close encounter but am sticking my neck out and backing an away win.

Chievo vs Udinese
Chievo superb recent run of form has seen them catapult themselves out of the bottom three and 13 points to safety. A hard fought win last weekend over Cesena all but secured their top flight status for another season.Despite a fantastic start to their campaign Udinese’s momentum has run out of steam and they have slowly fallen down the standings. Considering both these side’s form I am backing the home side to win this.

Empoli vs Parma
Despite being 11 points above the bottom three Empoli will be taking nothing for granted and will want to bounce back agaisnt bottom side Parma after their 4-0 drubbing in Rome last week. Parma are showing real determination and secured another superb result by downing Serie A champs Juventus at the Tardini. It’s a shame Donadoni’s side have discovered this form so late on in the season since they are 13 points from safety. Considering that the visitors are all but down and out I predict a home win!

Palermo vs Genoa
Palermo bounced back from their defeat to Milan with a convincing 1-3 win in Udine to all but confirm their mid-table finish in what has been a great return to the Serie A for the Sicilians. Genoa are one of the season’s hot flying sides and climbed up to 7th in the standings after beating lowly Parma on Wednesday night. This will be a close tie between two tough sides but I am backing an exciting score draw.

Roma vs Atalanta
After sitting in second place for almost the entire season Roma dropped to third after being held in Torino to allow their noisy neighbors Lazio slip past them. As predicted, Cagliari were comfortably brushed aside in Genoa last weekend to remain among the bottom three and eight points from safety. Benitez’s men are now seven points off third place Roma and cannot afford to drop any more points if they are to stand any chance of playing Champions League football next season. Considering Napoli’s superb game last weekend, I am backing to win in Sardinia.

Inter vs Milan
Sunday evening sees the clash of the two Milan sides in the Derby della Madoninna, a fixture which was once greatly anticipated by Europe’s footballing community.
