Roma Vs Torino

Roma will be certain of securing a 2nd place finish after keeping their heads and returning to the Capital with three important points against a tricky Chievo side. Il Toro did equally well to see off a Livorno side who are fighting for Serie A survival thanks to a Ciro Immobile hat-trick as they look to consolidate their mid-table position in a season from which they will take a lot of positives. Roma cannot afford to drop any points so I am backing them to win this.

Prediction 2-1

Atalanta Vs Livorno

Atalanta rode their luck and took their chances to stun the San Siro crowd following a late Bonaventura winner on Sunday afternoon. Livorno were expectedly beaten on their travels to Torino as slumped into the bottom three on goal average. With the Bergamo side safely on the 40 point mark in 8th place and fresh from that important win over Inter I am backing them to win this.

Cagliari Vs Verona

The Sardinians were beaten by relegation candidates Bologna in what was a pretty dull game of football and have to be careful not to be dragged back into the relegation scrap after only just distancing themselves from the bottom three. Verona were thumped when they visited Udinese as their poor form in 2014 continues. This might be an ideal opportunity for Cagliari to all but secure their Serie A status next season when this stuttering Verona side visit. Score draw expected,

Catania Vs Napoli

Catania were downed by a lone Tevez strike as they remained rooted to the bottom of the standings and are favorites to go down first after what has been a dismal season for the Sicilians after several years challenging for Europa League places. The Partenopoi were defeated in front of their home crowd by a late Joaquin strike after playing over half the match with ten men following the sending off of Ghoulam just before half time. Although Napoli will most likely have to settle for a third place finsih this season, Benitez will demand an instant reply from his men.

Chievo Vs Bologna

Just two points separate these two sides in the standings who are both struggling to survive another year of top flight football following a poor season. Last weekend Chievo were well beaten at home by a much stronger Roma side while Bologna fought hard and won just their fifth match of the campaign. Expect a quiet affair between two sides who might be happy to settle for a draw.

Prediction 1-1

Fiorentina Vs Milan

Despite all the odds stacked against them La Viola did extremely well to beat a tough Napoli side at the San Paolo to add another feather to Montella’s cap in what has been an extremely positive season for his side. Milan left the Olimpico on Sunday evening with their first point in four matches as the pressure continues to mount on Clarence Seedorf and his squad, who now sit 12th in the table. I reckon Fiorentina will have enough to win this and keep their faint Champions League hopes alive.

Genoa Vs Lazio

Genoa will be extremely pleased with their season so far, as they have all but secured a mid-table spot after spending a number of years deep within the relegation scrap and an impressive draw at the Tardini stadium is another sign of their improvement this year. Lazio are going through what is best described as a year in transition following the changing of coach Petkovic and also the departure of star man Hernanes in January. Considering each sides form, I predict a draw is on the cards.

Juventus Vs Parma

Juventus took one step closer to securing their third consecutive title following an important win in Sicily in what was an extremely heated encounter, with both managers being sent to the stands early on in the game. Parma’s impressive unbeaten run continued, though they will definitely be disappointed to have been held at home though they are still in the hunt for securing Europa League football next season. Parma’s unbeaten to come to an end at the Juventus stadium.

Prediction 2-0

Sassuolo Vs Sampdoria

Sassuolo were beaten on their travels to Udinese and will be kicking themselves after front man Floccari missed a late penalty to keep his side in penultimate place with very few chances remaining to win points, starting with a visit from La Samp, who are fresh from a 5-0 hammering of Verona. Mihajlovic’s side will be over the moon following that result and will hope to have gathered enough momentum to win this fixture.

Prediction 1-1

Inter Vs Udinese

Inter’s 3 match winning streak came to a grinding halt as they failed to take their chances and were beaten courtesy of a late Bonaventura goal and with that goal their chances of Champions League football have all but dried up. Udinese battled through a stubborn Sassuolo side to end the game with three vital points to all but secure safety following a poor season for Guidolin’s men. The Nerazzurri to bounce back.

Prediction 2-0
