Palermo vs Juventus
Even though Palermo dominated for long spells they failed to create any real chances and in the end I think were pleased to settle for a point. The Sicilians have done well on their return to Italian top flight football however face a difficult challenge of trying to stop Juventus, who have been a juggernaut this season. Palermo should have enough to hold out for a draw.

Cagliari vs Empoli

Atalanta vs Udinese

Genoa vs Chievo
Genoa’s chances of securing European football next season have all but ended after they were held in Empoli and are now five points off 6th place. Chievo put on a dogged display and earned themselves a priceless point as they held a toothless Roma side at bay and are now six points off the bottom three, in a match marred but a horrific injury to young midfielder Federico Mattiello. The Rossoblu should have enough to win this.

Sassuolo vs Parma
Sassuolo were very close to securing a difficult draw at the Juventus Stadium on Monday night only to be undone by a superb Pogba strike, as Juve keep marching steadily towards the Scudetto. Verona vs Napoli
Verona will be delighted with their hard fought point at the San Siro thanks to a late Lopez strike and are nine now points above the bottom three and all but safe from the drop. Inter vs Cesena
Despite a shocking defensive display Inter managed to secure a rare point at the San Paolo thanks to a very late comeback and will once again look to get a positive run of games going when Cesena, deep in the relegation scrap visit the San Siro. The newcomers will fancy their chances of scoring against this brittle Inter defense however I am backing the Nerazzurri to outscore the visitors.

Fiorentina vs Milan
The congested fixture list seems to be taking it’s toll on Montella’s side since even though they did very well to beat Inter at the San Siro and Juventus in Turin, with Salah shining in both fixtures, their performance was lackluster to say the least, as Lazio deservedly swept them aside. Milan just cannot seem to get a run of wins going as they conceded in the last minute of injury time and might face further misery in Florence if they are not careful. I expect a tired Viola side to hold out for a draw on Monday night.

Torino’s impressive run of form came to an abrupt end as they were beaten by a better Udinese side. Lazio are now in 3rd place in what has been an outstanding season for Pioli’s side.
