Udinese Vs Milan
Udinese were thrashed on their travels to Sardinia last weekend as their disappointing season continued following which they dropped to 15th in the standings. Milan were unfortunate to end their exhilarating clash against eternal rivals Juventus at the San Siro with no points, as they failed to take their chances and conceded from a counter and a stunning Tevez strike. I am sure Milan will take some confidence from that fixture with Taarabt being their man of the moment.

Catania Vs Cagliari
Catania remained among the bottom three after playing over half the match with ten men against a much stronger Genoa side. The Sicilians need a miracle if they are to stand any chance of survival unless they can start picking up points in fixtures like these. The Sardinians will be delighted after their superb win last weekend and will fancy their chances. All square in this battle between the islanders.

Juventus Vs Fiorentina
Juventus rode their luck as they held out a battling Rossoneri side and are now 11 points ahead of second place Roma. Conte’s side will undoubtedly want to redeem themselves after the first round slip up against La Viola, when they went into half time with a two goal advantage only to lose 4-2 in the end. Fiorentina’s form has dropped in recent weeks following the unfortunate injury to star man Rossi and I predict they are in for another defeat at the Juventus stadium.

Bologna Vs Sassuolo
Bologna will be delighted following their hard fought draw on their travels to Verona as they added another point on the board as they fight to distance themselves from the relegation zone. Sassuolo on the other hand remain rooted to the bottom of the Serie A after losing at home to Parma. This will be a massive chance for the Rossoblu to finally earn some breathing room.

Chievo Vs Genoa
Chievo were minutes away from an important draw at Atalanta, only to be denied by a late Cigarini winner for the Nerazzurri. Genoa were solid as they brushed aside a weak Catania side to maintain their good run of form. Chievo are in the middle of the relegation scrap and desperately need a win, however I reckon a draw is the most likely outcome.

Inter Vs Torino
Mazzarri will take a lot of positives following his sides scoreless draw at the Olimpico and will Inter can gather some momentum as they look to climb further up the standings and maintain the pressure on Fiorentina and Napoli. Torino were poor after losing at home to Sampdoria despite a good run of form in recent weeks as they sit in a comfortable mid-table position. Both these sides will be without a number of key defenders so expect plenty of goals and I reckon can outscore the visitors at the San Siro.

Lazio Vs Atalanta
Lazio bounced back after being dumped out of the Europa League, when they managed to leave Florence with three vital points after a poor couple of Gameweeks. Atalanta showed real character to comeback in the dying minutes and see off a stubborn Chievo side to move 10 points above the relegation zone. Expect a close encounter, however I reckon the home side could take this.

Parma Vs Verona
Donadoni’s men did well to beat a poor Sassuolo side on their travels and are now on a 14 game unbeaten run. Verona’s once formidable home form took another knock when they were held at home by lowly Bologna and are now on level points with Parma. Despite both these sides being joint on 40 points I reckon the home’s current form will be enough to see them potentially climb up to 5th.

Sampdoria Vs Livorno
Sampdoria’s fantastic start under new coach Mihajlovic continued as they bounced back following two tough defeats with a superb win at the Olimpico in Turin. Livorno fought extremely hard and pulled off the surprise result of the weekend after they managed to hold on to a vital point when Napoli paid a visit. Despite the point Livorno remained among the bottom three but are still in with a fighting chance of survival. Home win predicted.

Napoli Vs Roma
Sunday night sees a clash between two sides fighting for the all important 2nd place in the Serie A standings. The home side currently trail Roma by six points and a win here could give them a fighting chance of ensuring automatic qualification into next year’s Champions League group stages. The Southerners have been fairly inconsistent since new coach Benitez took over in the summer but will fancy their chances in front of what will be an electrifying atmosphere at the San Paolo. The Romans have been extremely impressive so far this season but coach Garcia will need all his experience if his side are to stand any chance of returning to the capital with any points.
