Napoli Vs Juventus
Week 27 kicks off with a cracking fixture which sees the current two top teams in Serie A go head-to-head in what is already being labeled as the battle for the title, even though there will still 27 points to play for. The reigning champions have found top form at just the right time after securing a good result in their Champions League first leg tie and also have managed to increase their lead at the summit by 6 points. Napoli on the otherhand are stumbling, having lost 5-0 over two legs in the Europa League and being held to two draws on the trot in the league. If the transfer rumours are true, this might be Napoli’s last chance to win a title for many a year now, however Juve will be happy to settle for a draw and maintain their 6 point cushion.

Milan Vs Lazio
Saturday’s lone fixture sees yet another enticing fixture, this time between the two teams fighting for the all important Champions League qualification spot. Milan were held by local rivals Inter last Sunday evening while Lazio comfortbly beat minnows Pescara at the Olimpico, courtesy of two stunning strikes. Lazio will be keen to settle for a draw however Milan will have other things in mind and will go for the kill.

Torino Vs Palermo
Torino lost in a 7 goal thriller against Cagliari in a match in which they finished with nine men. Palermo were held at home by fellow stragglers Genoa and remain rooted at the bottom of the table. Considering the Sicilians poor form I reckon Torino can pip this.

Siena were thrashed on their travels to Juventus last weekend, while Atalanta were defeated at home by an inspired Roma side. Siena are still in the drop zone while the Nerazzuri are just a few points adrift. Siena will really push to secure all the points in what will be one of their easier remaining home fixtures.

Bologna did very well to come back from a goal down against an improving Fiorentina side at home while Cagliari did well to hold on for three vital points against a tough Torino side. Even though only a few points separate these two teams I am going for a home win.

Fiorentina slumped to an away win on their travels to Bologna on Tuesday night after failing to take their chances, while Chievo slumped to a comprehensive defeat to Sampdoria. Considering La Viola’s form I am going for a home win.

Catania did extremely well to beat Parma at the Tardini stadium in what was a rare home defeat for this Parma side. Inter did well to fight back and secure a point against a tough Milan side in the local derby. Stramaccioni and his mean will have to be extra careful against this tough Sicilian side.

Pescara were outdone by two wonder goals on their travels to the Olimpico on Monday night as they remain amongst the bottom three. Udinese will be pleased with holding Napoli to a draw at home to remain in the top half of the table. This will be a very close encounter and Pescara will be desperate to put 3 points on the board, however I predict an away win.
