Bologna climbed up to the top half of the table after an impressive win in Udine while Juventus are now league leaders as they beat Napoli in front of an ecstatic home crowd. The home side have had a positive 2016 however I reckon Juve will prove too much for them.

These two sides face off in what cannot be a more different circumstances in what will be a hotly contested derby. Verona have lingered at the bottom of the standings for most of the season and will most likely be playing Serie B football next season while Chievo’s recent good run of form has seen them maintain a comfortable mid-table position. Close game of football that I predict will end in a draw.

Inter have slumped to new lows since Mancini has taken the reigns just over one year ago, winning just two of their last eight Serie A games. Sampdoria have been a shadow of the former solid side who used to give even the bigger sides a run for their money and are just three points above the bottom three. This is a must win for the Nerazzurri.

Atalanta are 7 points above the relegation zone in what has been a disappointing season for Reja’s men while Fiorentina climbed to 3rd in the standings after a late Babacar goal sealed three vital points in an exciting Sunday night win over Inter. I am backing Sousa’s men to win this.

A solitary points separates these two struggling sides who both linger just a handful of points above the bottom three in what has been a disastrous season for these once mighty sides. Neither side can afford to lose this but I reckon the home side have enough to win.

Sassuolo equalised just one minute after going behind at Chievo to remain 8th in the standings while Empoli were downed by Serie A debutantes Frosinone in what has been a dreadful 2016 for Giampolo’s men. The home side will fancy getting back to winning ways against the struggling visitors.

Torino snatched their second win of the year after a hard fought comeback in Sicily with front man Ciro Immobile grabbing a brace while Carpi lost for the 14th time in what is the clubs first ever season in the Serie A to remain six points from safety. Home win expected.

Frosinone were rewarded for their fighting spirit on their travels to Empoli after a Ciofani brace grabbed his side a rare victory to move his side to within three points of 17th place. Lazio knocked five past a hapless Verona side however remain 7 points away from Europa League football. I reckon the home side can get a draw.

Roma did well to beat Carpi on their travels on Friday night to leapfrog Inter in the standings to 4th place while Palermo continue to struggle as they were beaten 1-3 in front of their home fans by Torino. I predict a home win here.

Napoli vs Milan
Napoli will consider themselves extremely unlucky after losing out to Juventus following a deflected late Zaza strike after testing the reigning champions for prolonged periods at the Juventus Stadium. Milan saw off a struggling Genoa side at the San Siro to move to just two points off 5th place. Milan will really test the home side who I reckon can just pip this.
