Lazio vs Verona
As predicted Lazio were held on their travels to Genoa in what was a drab affair while Verona will be pleased with their improved form as Del Neri’s side have not lost in 5 games now as they look to somehow avoid the drop come May despite being nine points from safety. This is a must win for the home side.
Prediction 2-1

Carpi vs Roma
Even though Carpi fought hard for long spells they were unable to hold a strong Napoli side at bay, especially after being reduced to ten men, and were eventually beaten by a Higuain penalty with 20 minutes left on the clock. Roma were pushed at the Olimpico by a determined Sampdoria side however their quality eventually shone through as they closed the gap to third place to just two points. Carpi have pulled off some shocks in recent weeks and I reckon they can hold out for a draw.
Prediction 1-1

Empoli vs Frosinone
Empoli played out a dull 0-0 draw on their visit to Atalanta on Sunday afternoon to remain among the top half of the table. Frosinone managed to hold off an in form Juventus side for almost 75 minutes however fatigue got the better of the Stellone’s side who lost 0-2 to remain in the relegation zone. The home side have not won a game in 2016 and I am backing them to get back to winning ways.
Prediction 2-1

Chievo vs Sassuolo
Chievo will be delighted with their hard fought 1-2 win over a struggling Torino side to leapfrog their opponents into 10th place and move 11 points clear of the bottom three. Sassuolo will be kicking themselves for failing to make the most of their chances and allowing Palermo to leave with a point in what was an exciting 2-2 affair. I predict a close game of football which will end in a draw.
Prediction 1-1

Juventus vs Napoli
Saturday night sees the potential Scudetto decider take place at the Juventus Stadium as reigning champions Juventus enteratin a high flying Napoli side in what is expected to be an epic display of football. Allegri’s men are on a 14 game winning streak while Napoli boast the Serie A’s most deadly front line boasting 53 goals to date. I expect a great game of football with a number of goals and the home side to win.
Prediction 3-1

Milan vs Genoa
Milan were frustrated on Sunday afternoon as an organised Udinese side allowed the Rossoneri to dominate possession and played clever counter-attacking football as the game ended 1-1. Genoa will be pleased with the point over Lazio in a 0-0 draw at the Luigi Ferraris as they moved 6 points clear of the relegation zone and will fancy their chances of staying up. Mihajlovic will demand nothing but a win from his squad.
Prediction 2-0

Palermo vs Torino
Palermo did well to fight out a 2-2 draw in Sassuolo to move 7 points clear of the bottom three while Torino’s poor season continued as they were beaten at home by Chievo to remain in the bottom half of the table. Palermo will fancy their chances against this struggling Torino side and I am backing them to win this.
Prediction 2-1
Sampdoria vs Atalanta
La Samp fought hard but were eventually worn down by a stronger Roma side meaning former star frontman, now coach, Montella’s side left emptied handed. Atalanta saw out a boring 0-0 draw when Empoli paid a visit on Sunday meaning the Nerazzurri are now nine points clear of the bottom three. This is a must win for the home side and I am backing them this Sunday afternoon.
Prediction 2-1

Udinese vs Bologna
Udinese will be pleased with the point picked up at the San Siro as they outsmarted Mihajlovic’s side while Bologna will be equally pleased with their hard fought display over third place Fiorentina to add another vital point to their name. This will be a close affair which I predict will end in a draw.
Prediction 1-1

Fiorentina vs Inter
Both these sides have been far from perfect this season however one can probably reason that each manager is doing as well as possible considering the resources at hand. Fiorentina did well to leave Bologna with a point after taking the lead moments after Matias Fernandez was sent off for a second bookable defense while Inter’s back line struggled without the suspended Miranda as they went 3-1 down in Verona eventually coming back to snatch a point. Neither side has been in top form in recent weeks and I reckon a draw is the most likely outcome.
