Sassuolo vs Roma
Sassuolo fought hard to hold Atalanta to a draw and maintain their mid-table position. As expected Roma were extremely dominant at the Olimpico brushing aside local minnows Frosinone to move four points closer to the top three. Sassuolo are a tough nut to crack at the Mapei ground so I expect a draw.

Frosinone vs Bologna
Frosinone remained seven points from safety after losing to Roma at the Olimpico while Bologna crept into the top half of the table after an winning five goal thriller over a struggling Sampdoria side. Despite’s the visitors good form I reckon the home side will hold out for a draw.

Empoli vs Udinese
Despite taking an early lead Empoli were swept aside by a superior Napoli squad at the San Paolo to remain 9th in the standings as Marco Giampaolo’s early season momentum continue to fizzle out. Udinese will be delighted with their hard earned point over Lazio after they played for over 45 minutes with ten-men after defender Danilo was sent off for two bookable offences just before half time. I am backing the home side to bounce back.

Fiorentina vs Carpi
Even though they dominated large spells of possession Fiorentina looked toothless upfront and failed to breakdown a stubborn Genoa rearguard. Carpi fought back to earn a vital point against Palermo however remain four points from safety. Home win expected for La Viola.

Verona vs Atalanta
As we go into Week 23 Verona are the only side in European top flight football without a win to their name as Mandorlini’s side continue to struggle as look as though they will be relegated several weeks before the end of the season. Atalanta were held at home by a tough Sassuolo side and I reckon they will have to settle for a draw in Verona.

Inter vs Chievo
Inter’s season seems to be falling apart after losing 3-0 for the second time in 4 days on Sunday evening, first against rivals Juventus in the Copa Italia and again at the San Siro against city rivals Milan. Mancini really seems to have lost the plot and was sent off in the second half during the derby. Chievo were pummeled at home by a high flying Juventus side to maintain their mid-table position in the Serie A table. This is the perfect chance for the Nerazzurri to bounce back.

Juventus vs Genoa
Juventus won their 12th Serie A game on the trot as they pummeled a helpless Chievo side to keep the pressure on Napoli as they look to retain their championship status come May. Genoa kept a rare clean sheet as they frustrated the visiting Fiorentina side to remain five points clear from safety. I envisage only one outcome in this encounter.

Lazio vs Napoli
Probably the most exciting encounter of the Gamesweek is between these twos sides, who until last May were fighting toe-to-toe for that crucial third place spot. Lazio have been lacking that little something special this season and they are sitting 10 points behind third spot. Napoli marched on thumping five past a determined Empoli side to maintain their two point lead over chasing Juventus. I am backing Sarri’s side to win this.

Palermo vs Milan
Palermo were held on their travels to Carpi as new coach Giovanni Tedesco looks to settle into his new role and push to secure Serie A football for next season. Milan took another important step to securing Europa League football next season after downing city rivals Inter 3-0 on Sunday night. Palermo are tough to beat in Sicily but I reckon they have enough to win this.

Sampdoria were minutes away from a hard earned draw after coming back from two goals down only to be beaten by a late Destro penalty. Torino will be kicking themselves for failing to make the most of their possession when lowly Verona visited on Sunday afternoon. I expect a close game but reckon the home side can win this.
