Sassuolo vs Fiorentina
Sassuolo have been on a very positive run of form and sit comfortably in mid-table in what is only their second season of Serie A football. The Neroverdi frustrated a toothless Sampdoria side to secure a difficult away point. Montella’s Fiorentina came out on top in a 5 goal thriller during the early Sunday afternoon fixture, which has seen them climb up to 4th in the standings. This will be a close game which I expect will end in a draw.
Palermo vs Napoli
Despite a positive run of form Palermo were unlucky to face such an efficient Inter side at the San Siro. The Sicilians were swept aside by Mancini’s side who were desperate to win after a dire run. Napoli were made to sweat hard when they entertained Udinese last weekend, in what was a closely contested game. Benitez’s side have hit a good run of form though won’t have it all their own way in Sicily. Slim away win expected.
Milan vs Empoli
Even though Milan fought hard they were eventually outclassed by a superior Juventus side on Saturday night. The Rossoneri will feel slightly hard done by after a controversial early goal which has been subject to much debate in the Italian media this week. Empoli put on a superb display to down fellow Serie A newcomers and climb five points above the bottom three. The visitors will fancy their chances against this struggling Milan side, however I am backing Inzaghi’s team to win this.
Atalanta vs Inter
Atalanta fought like hell and were almost rewarded for their efforts only to be denied by a late Pasqual strike. The home side a hovering above the relegation zone and will need to improve their form if their are to avoid a relegation scrap come May. Inter finally won a game after a poor run of form. Mancini’s side desperately need a good run of games in order to secure European football next season. I predict a close game between these two Nerazzurri sides, which I reckon will end in a draw.
Genoa vs Verona
Genoa pulled off the surprise of Gamesweek 22 by beating an in form Lazio at the Olimpico. The team from Liguria have improved greatly this season compared to the last two when they avoided relegation in the last few weeks and deservedly sit in 7th place. Verona’s second season in the Serie A has been far from perfect as they were downed by a more determined Torino side. I predict a home win for Genoa.
Roma vs Parma
Roma won their first game in three matches after a poor start to 2015. The Romans are now seven points behind league leaders Juventus. Parma have been struggling all season and lie at the bottom of the pack after yet another loss on Wednesday night, leaving them 10 points from safety with only nine to their name. Home win expected for Garcia’s men.

Torino vs Cagliari
Torino must be the most in form side in Italy at the moment winning four on the trot and scoring 12 in the process, as the Turin side have catapulted themselves up the table. The same cannot be said for the Sardinians, who have now lost almost half their games this season. Home win expected.
Udinese vs Lazio
Udinese seem to running out of steam despite a superb start to their campaign as they slip slowly down the Serie A standings. Lazio have also showed signs of inconsistency in recent weeks and their Monday night defeat at the hands of Genoa added further distance from the all important Champions League third spot. Stramaccioni will be spurning his men on in what is a critical game for both sides. Exciting, score draw expected.
Chievo vs Sampdoria
Chievo will be delighted with their hard fought away win over fellow relegation candidates to be out of the bottom three for the first time in months. Sampdoria were unable to down a determined Sassuolo side at the Luigi Ferraris, as they maintained they hunt for European football next season. Mihajlovic’s men will need to be at their best to beat this Chievo side, desperate to avoid the drop. Draw expected.
Cesena vs Juventus
Cesena will surely be playing Serie B football next season, unless they start winning points and fast. Their latest defeat, against fellow newcomers Empoli, might be the final nail in their coffin as they are now four points adrift from safety. Juventus maintained their march towards a fourth consecutive Scudetto with an impressive win over a weak Milan side. Comfortable away win expected.
