Carpi vs Palermo
Carpi showed real fighting spirit to score a late winner after being reduced to ten men minutes before and deny an immature Inter side three points at the San Siro. Palermo were superb as they smashed a hapless Udinese side in Sicily to move six points clear from the relegation zone. I reckon the Sicilians can hold out for a draw.

Atalanta vs Sassuolo
Atalanta played out a boring 0-0 draw to return home with a point while Sassuolo were surprisingly beaten at the Mapei Stadium by an improving Bologna side. Sassuolo have only won two games since December and perhaps the Neroverdi are running out of steam. I predict a draw.

Roma vs Frosinone
Roma fought hard but were unable to hold a superior Juventus side at bay and were beaten by a 77nd minute Dybala strike to fall 12 points behind league leaders Napoli. Frosinone missed a good chance to beat fellow strugglers Atalanta and move closer to safety. Spalletti will demand a win from his side as they look to recover what is left of their season.

Chievo vs Juventus
Despite taking an early lead Chievo were unable to contain a dominant Lazio side at the Stadio Olimpico after being reduced to ten-men at the beginning of the second half. The Old Lady maintained their superb run of form by beating Roma at the Juventus Stadium to remain two points behind Napoli. Allegri’s side have really been flexing their muscles in recent weeks and have steamrolled all in their path. Away win expected.

Bolgona vs Sampdoria
Bologna are now eight points above the relegation zone as they did very well to beat a tough Sassuolo side on their travels. Sampdoria are in a real crisis as they were easily beaten by Napoli to remain just a handful of points in 17th place. I reckon the home side will fancy their chances.

Genoa vs Fiorentina
Genoa were held on their travels to Verona as Gasperini’s men desperately try and distance themselves from the bottom three in what has been a far from perfect season to date. La Viola were extremely efficient as they beat Torino in Florence to climb up to third in the standings and strengthen their chances of Champions League football next season.

Napoli vs Empoli
Napoli’s deadly front line once again wasted no time in ripping Sampdoria’s defense apart as they secured three vital points for their side in their bid to secure their first Scudetto in over 20 years. Empoli fought hard to hold an improving Milan side in what was an exciting 2-2 draw. Home win expected.

Torino vs Verona
Just two seasons ago Torino were a force to be reckoned with however they continue to struggle this season and linger in a mid-table position. Verona are by far the biggest flop of the season to date and have yet to win a single game. This is a must win for the home side if they intend on qualifying for Europa League football next season.

Udinese were pummeled 4-1 on their travels to Sicily on Sunday afternoon while Lazio won by the same scoreline after coming back strong in the second half against a ten man Chievo side. I am sticking my neck out and backing an away win.

Milan vs Inter
Milan finally seem to be settling into Mihajlovic’s system with just their leaky defense still letting them down but in what can be considered a hard earned point at Empoli. Inter threw away two vital points against a ten-man Carpi side when they really should have wrapped up the game as the Mancini seems to be losing control of his squad. I reckon Milan will dominate possession and win by a slim margin.
