Lazio Vs Chievo

Lazio were held on their travels to Sicily last Saturday evening and will want to gain maximum points as this tough Chievo side visit the Capital. Even though Lazio have a grueling mid-week fixture against La Juve they should have enough to win this fixture.

Prediction 2-1

Juventus Vs Genoa

The Old Lady bounced back in style following a poor start to 2013 in a 4-0 thrashing of Udinese, with Paul Pogba stealing the show through a couple of beauties from 30 yards out. Genoa once again lost at home as they remain in the relegation zone and I believe have no chance of leaving Turin with anything.

Prediction 3-0

Bologna vs Roma

Bologna are lingering perilously close to the drop zone following a defeat at the San Siro last weekend and urgently need to pick up points to reassure the fans and board alike. Roma were rather lackluster as they were held at the Olimpico by the Nerazzuri and will need to put on a much better performance if they are to return to Rome with anything.

Prediction 1-1

 Catania vs Fiorentina

Catania put on a confident display as they swept aside lowly Genoa and will be keen to test their European credentials when La Viola visit this Sunday. Following a fantastic start to the season, Fiorentina’s momentum seems to be fizzling out and I predict an exciting draw is on the cards.

Prediction 2-2

Atalanta vs Milan

Atalanta did well to come back and secure a point after going behind after just two minutes to a very unlucky own goal. Milan on the other hand maintained their positive run of form by beating a resilient Bologna at the San Siro. With Allegri’s men in such good form I am sticking my neck out and going for an away win.

Prediction 1-2

Parma vs Napoli

Parma would have been pleased to leave Chievo with a point last Sunday afternoon but now face the daunting task of keeping the electric front line of Cavani and Hamsik at bay. Even though Napoli can demolish any team on their day, I reckon Parma will hold out for an all important point.

Prediction 2-2

Cagliari vs Palermo

Both these teams would have been pleased with their respective outcomes of last weekend’s fixtures, with the Sardinians holding out for a draw against Atalanta while Palermo were only denied a victory against high flying Lazio due to a last minute penalty. Just 4 points separate these two teams, with the Sicilians currently in 19th place, I predict a bore draw.

Prediction 1-1

Sampdoria vs Pescara

Another bottom of the table clash takes place on Sunday afternoon as La Samp entertain Pescara. The home side lead their relegation rivals by a point and with the visitors without the services of the influential Slovakian attacking midfielder Weiss, through suspension, I am going for a home win.

Prediction 2-0

Udinese vs Siena

Le Zebrette were completely battered on their travels to Turin last weekend, conceding 4 unanswered goals. Prior to this defeat they had been on fine form and I reckon that Guidolin will have the experience to rouse his men and see aside this Siena side who remain rooted to the bottom of the Serie A standings.

Prediction 3-1

Inter vs Torino

Inter were admittedly the better side as they were held by Roma at the Olimpico, following a silly challenge by inexperienced centre back Ranocchia which led to the Romans taking an early lead. Torino put on a solid display to see off a weak Pescara side on their travels and will travel to the San Siro in a confident mood. Even though Inter have a mid-week fixture to contend with, Stramaccioni should shuffle the pack just enough to win this important home game.

Prediction 2-1
