Genoa vs Fiorentina
Genoa were are the wrong end of a couple of poor refereeing decisions which saw them lose out in Naples. Despite this Gasperini’s men will not be disheartened and will look for an immediate reply when La Viola visit on Saturday evening. Montella’s side put on a stubborn display to frustrate Roma into dropping more points in their bid to keep up with run away league leaders Juventus. Gomez scored a crucial early goal and he will be hoping to add more to his tally. Exciting core draw expected.
Roma vs Empoli
The team from the capital returned from Florence a further two points behind Juventus as Garcia’s side continue to struggle in 2015. Despite a brave performance Empoli were unable to hold off a strong Udinese side and are now just one point above the bottom three. A home win is critical for the Romans.
Sassuolo vs Inter
Following a great run of form which saw Sassuolo climb up the standings, they were unable to hold off a struggling Cagliari side and left Sardinia empty handed. Despite dominating possession, Inter failed to create any real chances and paid the ultimate price when Torino scored in the final minute to hand the Nerazzuri yet another home loss. This is a must win for Mancini’s side though I suspect a draw is the most likely outcome.
Atalanta vs Cagliari
Both these sides have struggled so far this season as they sit a point adrift from one another, just above the drop zone. Considering how inconsistent these two sides have been it’s a tough result to call but I am playing it safe and calling it a draw.
Cesena vs Lazio
Cesena battled to the bitter end and won in what was a crucial win over fellow relegation favourites Parma at the Tardini stadium. Lazio’s impressive season continued as they downed a poor Milan side at the Olimpico following a superb second half comeback. I predict another win for Pioli’s side.
Chievo vs Napoli
Despite an early fight Chievo were eventually worn down by a dominant Juventus side and an impressive Paul Pogba to lose 2-0 at the Juventus stadium. Despite the result the home side are still in with a fighting chance of survival and you can bet they will give Napoli a good run for their money. The Partnepoi have hit a decent run of form and coach Benitez will expect that his side does not drop any points against this struggling Chievo side.

Palermo vs Verona
Palermo are proving that they deserve to be back in Italy’s top flight following a hard fought display on their travels to Sampdoria to climb up to 8th in the table. Verona will be thanking veteran front man Saviola for his half time solitary strike to add three valuable points to their tally to add further distance from the bottom three. I am backing the Sicilian’s superior form to see them win this!
Torino vs Sampdoria
Torino pulled off the surprise of Gameweek 20 as they allowed Inter to hold possession but cause little trouble only to strike late and secure an unlikely win at the San Siro. Sampdoria were held at home by a determined Palermo side, who played with ten men for over 30 minute. Despite the draw La Samp are just two points below third place and will be hoping to close the gap and win in Turin. I predict a score draw.
Udinese vs Juventus
Despite playing the last 15 minutes with ten men, Stramaccioni’s side held on to three vital points to stay in touch with a European spot and will have to be on their guard when an in form Juventus side visit Udine on Sunday afternoon. La Juve are fresh from a convincing home win over Chievo as they gained two more points at the top of the Serie A, over their nearest challengers Roma. This will be a close encounter but I feel Allegri’s men have just enough to win this, with Pogba leading the way!
Milan vs Parma
Milan’s poor season continued as they lost twice in a week to Lazio in Serie A and Coppa Italia fixtures. The pressure is really piling on Inzaghi’s side, who desperately require reinforcements. Parma remain rooted to the bottom of the league following a home defeat to Cesena. In the face of all the pressure from the fans, front man Cassano jumped ship and cancelled this contract, adding further misery to Donadoni’s squad. The Rossoneri to make amends for recent form and win in Milan.
