Palermo Vs Lazio
As expected, Palermo were demolished on their travels to the Sao Paolo on Sunday while Lazio were very lucky to defeat Atalanta at home. Even though 18 places separate these two teams in the standings, I reckon Palermo will hold out for a draw.

Juventus VsĀ Udinese
With just one point collected so far in 2013, Conte will be desperate to get his men back to winning ways so that they can maintain their lead at the top. Udinese will have other plans though, with two impressive home wins over Inter and Fiorentina this year, they will see this Juve side, who are struggling to find the net, as a chance to cause another shock.

Fiorentina vsĀ Lazio
The early Sunday afternoon fixture sees a clash between two of the most exciting teams in Serie A, as Lazio travel to Florence. While Lazio have discovered how to grind out games into important victories, Fiorentina have yet to learn that important trait and this fixture could see La Viola succumb to their third defeat on the trot. Lazio will be keen to take advantage of this opportunity, however I reckon La Viola will hold on to a draw.

Ā Milan vsĀ Bologna
Milan’s form has been extremely poor this year, considering their terrific run before the Christmas break, and should be thankful to the goalkeeping heroics of veteran Abbiati, as they held on for a score-less draw away to Atalanta last Sunday night. Bologna on theĀ other handĀ were superb as they put four past a normally solid Chievo. While at home they could give any team a run for their money, they have now lost 8 out of 10 on their travels and hence I predict they will leave the San Siro empty handed.Ā

Atalanta vsĀ Cagliari
Atalanta were very unlucky as they were defeated by Lazio in Rome by two goals, the first of which clearly struck Floccari’s hand before he poked it in and the second being an own goal ten minutes later. Cagliari did well to come back and grab all three points when a stubborn Genoa side visited Sardinia last weekend. I reckon Atalanta will have enough to win this.

Genoa vsĀ Catania
Genoa will kick themselves for not holding on for a point as they remain in the relegation zone, while Catania put on a solid display as they defeated Roma at home on Sunday afternoon. Considering the home side’s dreadful poor run, I am sticking my neck out and going for an away victory here.

Chievo vsĀ Parma
Chievo were stunned on Saturday afternoon as they conceded fourĀ againstĀ a confident Bologna side. Parma are also on fine form this season and deservedly sit in 9th place, just six points away from Europa League football. Considering that Chievo will be desperate to bounce back, I predict they will hold out for a draw.

Siena vsĀ Sampdoria
Siena remain rooted to the bottom of the table and alarm bells must really be ringing among Guiseppe Iachini and his men, following another defeat, this time awayĀ againstĀ Torino, in which theirĀ defenseĀ was caught napping and conceded three goals, twoĀ againstĀ the run of play. Sampdoria were unfortunate not to do the double over Milan this season and will be keen to leave Siena with a point, which I think they will get.

Pescara have managed to climb out of the drop zone and will not be too dis-heartened following a 2-0 defeat against the Nerazzuri at the San Siro last Saturday night. They will look at this fixture as another goodĀ opportunityĀ to increase the distance from the bottom three, even though Torino are no pushovers.

Roma vs Inter
Both these teams have been extremely inconsistent this season and there are just five points between them. They both face mid-week cup ties, Inter’s arguably an easier home fixture as opposed to Roma’s tough away fixture, a day later. The cup matches will most likely play a small part in the outcome of this fixture, with both teams being keen to progress to the next round. Since neither team’s form has been great in recent weeks and I am going for an exciting score draw.
