Catania Vs Torino
Catania were extremely poor in their last fixture before the festive break when they lost 2-1 on their travels to lowly Pescara. Coach Maran will expect more from his side as they look to maintain their top half of the table status. Torino are an extremely stubborn team and on their travels are known to park the bus very effectively. Despite this, I predict a home win.

Lazio vs Cagliari
Lazio have been superb this season since not only have they qualified for the next round of the Europa League but they also currently sit second in the Serie A standings as they will look towards this home fixture as a means of keeping in touch with the run away league leaders. With Cagliari being in such poor form and currently sitting just a point off the drop zone, I see nothing but a home victory here.

Udinese vs Inter
Udinese’s overall form this season has been a far cry from the exciting football their fans are used too from previous seasons when they usually finished among the top four. Although Inter have shown signs of improvement this term, they still seem to be lacking a couple of world class players who will be able to transform them back to the footballing super power they were just two years ago. Their away form has been far better from their home form, hence I am going for a score draw.

Chievo vs Atalanta
Chievo succumbed to a comprehensive away defeat in Week 18 in Turin, while Atalanta were hold on their home soil against La Samp. Just one point separates these two mid-table teams and even though most pundits will go for a draw, I predict a home win is on the cards.

Fiorentina vs Pescara
Fiorentina have been the surprise package of the season and they currently sit in third spot following some fantastic results. Pescara have also improved in recent weeks to climb out of the relegation zone, however I reckon they will not stand a chance in Florence.

Genoa vs Bologna
Genoa put on a sound display before the Christmas holidays to hold Inter at home, however the lone point was not enough to clamber out of the drop zone as they remain in 19th place. Bologna are just 4 points above their rivals as they shockingly lost at home to Parma in Week 18. With so little between these two teams I predict a draw is the most likely outcome.

Juventus vs Sampdoria
Juventus have been reinvigorated following the return of Conte from suspension, as they aim to continue their positive run of form and maintain their healthy lead at the top of the standings. Sampdoria still flirt with relegation, despite a change in coach and I predict that they will be pummeled on their travels.

Milan vs Siena
Milan were swept aside in their last outing during Week 18 as the Romans put four past the helpless Rossoneri defense before they scored two late consolation goals. Siena’s chances of remaining in the top flight of Italian football look poorer by the week as they remain rooted to the bottom of the standings after they started the campaign with a points deduction. I see them having very little chance of leaving the San Siro with any points.

Parma vs Palermo
Parma have proven that they are a team not to be messed with and deservedly occupy 8th place, just one point behind Milan. The Sicilians still find themselves in all sorts of trouble and better start collecting points unless they are to find themselves in Serie B next season. Even though Palermo will put up a fight, I am going for a home win here.

Napoli vs Roma
Napoli have returned to winning ways following a few weeks of poor form in November and will look towards this tough home fixture as a test of their title credentials, even though the gap between them and Juventus has grown considerably. Roma will be keen to return to the capital with atleast a point, however Mazzarri and his men will have different plans.
