Genoa vs Bologna
Genoa stood little chance at the San Siro as they struggled to compete against a superior Inter side and were lucky that the game ended just 1-0. Bologna pulled off the surprise of the weekend after they stormed to a 3-0 first half lead over top side Napoli and held on to a historic win despite a late Higuain double. These sides sit on equal points and I reckon a draw is on the cards.

Palermo vs Frosinone
Both these sides were trounced in their respective games after a series of good results in recent weeks, with Palermo losing 3-0 in Atalanta and Frosinone were beaten 0-2 on their home soil by a more experienced Chievo side. I am backing the home side to win this.

Sassuolo did very well to beat a struggling Sampdoria side on their travels to move up to 6th in the Serie A table. After three wins on the trot Udinese were ripped apart by a superior Fiorentina side, while Inter, despite winning, will feel hard done by a number of referring decisions, including two harsh yellow cards on D’Ambrosio, a disallowed goal and a clear penalty not awarded. This will be a tight game for Mancini’s men which I will expect in a draw.

Milan vs Verona
Despite dominating for most of the game Milan failed to make the most of their chances and returned to the San Siro with just a point. I predict a score draw.

Sunday afternoon sees two of Italy’s top sides battle it out for three vital points as Napoli welcome Roma to the San Paolo in what is expected to be a cracking game.
