La Samp sit among the bottom three following a poor start to their campaign and have collected just 9 points from a possible 36. Bologna have had a very slow start as captain Diamanti struggles to find top form and inspire his men. The Rossoblu are also missing the goals usually provided by front man Gilardino who was sold to Genoa over summer. Inter have had a positive start to their campaign under new coach Walter Mazzarri and will look towards this fixture as another good opportunity to add three vital points to their name and keep in touch with the top three.
