Pescara have finally climbed out of the relegation zone and will want to maintain a positive string of results. Juventus’s 49 Serie A unbeaten run came to an abrupt end as they were admittedly outplayed on their home soil against arch rivals, Inter. With Juve having a mid-week fixture to contend with and currently seem to be struggling to find goals, I reckon a draw is on the cards.

Palermo sit in penultimate place in the standings and Sampdoria have rapidly slipped down the table following an very encouraging start to their campaign. Considering both team’s form, I reckon the home team could just pip this.

Genoa’s ultras would have expected a far better start to their Serie A campaign after some exciting signings during the summer break, but to them it is more like deja vu following a poor season last year. Napoli were fortunate to hold onto a point last Sunday, as Mazzarri’s men continue to suffer. With both teams struggling at the moment I am going for a high scoring draw.

Undoubtedly the most highly anticipated fixture of the weekend for Serie A fans sees the Roman derby between eternal rivals Lazio and Roma. Lazio continue to struggle as Catania steamrolled past them on Sunday afternoon, while Zeman’s men have finally found their feet following a shaky month. Considering both these team’s current form, I am sticking my neck out and going for an away win.

Parma will be chuffed that they currently sit in 8th position and will look towards this fixture as an opportunity to get another three points on the board, as Siena remain firmly put at the bottom of the standings.

Considering the circumstances and Inter playing on Thursday in Eastern Europe, I predict a draw.
