Milan did well to come back from two goals down on their travels to Sicily and hold on for a point but Allegri will demand maximum points from his men here and will bank on El Shaarawy to lead by example.

Juventus vs Inter
Saturday evening sees the clash of the titans as Inter travel to Turin to try and end Juventus’s long-standing unbeaten run in what will be a hotly contested game. With Juventus’s form seeming to slump in recent week this might be the perfect opportunity for the Nerazzuri to close the gap on the league leaders, however a draw is the most likely outcome in the Derby d’Italia.

Pescara vs Parma
Pescara’s poor form continues as they struggle to assert themselves in Serie A following their recent promotion. Parma on theĀ other handĀ have had a very good start to theirĀ campaignĀ and leap-frogged Roma to 6th place as they beat them convincingly at the Tardini stadium. This will be a close encounter, with more pundits probably anticipating an away win however I predict a score draw.

Bologna vs Udinese
Bologna currently sit in 19th position and will be worried about falling behind the rest of the relegation pack so early on the season. Udinese have seemed to find their feet and will kick themselves for only securing one pointĀ againstĀ Catania on their home soil. In past years Udinese would have left with all three points but considering their newĀ squadĀ I reckon a draw is on the cards.

Catania vs Lazio
Catania put on a solid display to leave Udine with a point on Wednesday night, will Lazio continue to struggle following a positive start to their season. They were held in Rome by visiting Torino which was an ideal fixture to bounce back. Considering both these teams form I am sticking my neck out and going for a win for the Sicilians.

Fiorentina vs Cagliari
Fiorentina left Genoa with an impressive away win on Thursday night and Montella will want to make sure that they put on another solid display when they entertain Cagliari on Sunday. Cagliari will be no push overs however and are having a great start to their season as they deservedly sit in 8th position.

Napoli have hit crisis point as they fell to their second loss of the season on their travels to Atalanta, while Torino did well to leave Rome with a point. Napoli will really have to make the best of this opportunity to find their feet again as they entertain a far weaker side and close the gap while the two top teams battle it out.

Sampdoria were perhaps unlucky not to leave the San Siro with a point last Wednesday as they played for over 45 minutes with ten-men. Atalanta pulled off theĀ surpriseĀ of the week with an important win over star-studded Napoli. With very littleĀ separatingĀ these two teams I am going for a low scoring draw.

Both these teams are having poor starts to their season and will look to this fixture as a chance to grab three vital points. With so little seperating these two teams and Genoa arguably having a stronger front line, a draw is the most likely outcome.

Roma vs Palermo
Roma are another of the big teams in Serie A currently desperate toĀ improveĀ their form and coach Zeman will have to use all his experience to lift his squad. With both Lamela and Totti in fine form, goals are easy to find, however they keep conceding very soft goals. Palermo let go of a two goal lead as they allowed Milan to leave with a point on Tuesday night. They currently sit in 17th place and will be keen to leave Rome with a point, however I predict that the Capital team will just have enough to secure all three.
