Atalanta Vs Inter
Atalanta were defeated on their travels to Sampdoria and played the last half hour with ten men following the sending off of Constantin Nica. They will still be pleased with their overall form so far this season as they sit in the top half of the table. Inter travel to the Bergamo following an important home win over surprise package Verona. Mazzarri’s men have been very inconsistent and desperately require Campagnaro to return from injury to rally the defense, after leaking 8 goals in 3 matches in his absence. Away win expected here.

Milan Vs Lazio
Milan’s nightmare start to the season continues as they struggled on their travels to Parma and were duly beaten despite managing to reduce a two goal deficit. The Rossoneri now sit in 10th position, 11 points adrift of the top three. Lazio put on a solid display to defeat Cagliari at the Olimpico to go 7th in the standings. Following the heavy criticism after Sunday’s defeat Allegri will be demanding much more from his side who I am predicting will bounce back.

Cagliari Vs Bologna
As expected Cagliari were beaten on their travels to Rome on Sunday night and maintained their mid-table position, while Bologna grabbed their first win of the season to double their point tally. The Sardinians are extremely tough to beat on their home turf and I reckon Diamanti’s side will be leaving empty handed.

Fiorentina Vs Napoli
Vincenzo Montella’s side came from behind, via a Cuadrado double, to beat Chievo and return to Florence with three important points. La Viola are proving to be a force to be reckoned with while Napoli visit Florence following a comfortable home win over Torino. Benitez’s side have had a great start to their campaign on all fronts but will be wary of this in form La Viola side. Thrilling score draw expected.

Genoa Vs Parma
Genoa stood little chance on Sunday afternoon after they were comfortably dispatched at the Juventus stadium. They will not be too disheartened though and will look to bounce back when Parma visit on Wednesday evening. The visitors will be delighted with their late victory over a bruised Rossoneri side and will make the short trip West brimming with confidence. Another score draw predicted here.

Verona’s great start to the season lost some momentum as they were beaten on their travels at the San Siro while Sampdoria beat an in form Atalanta side at home. I suspect La Samp have little chance of winning this.

Juventus bounced back following a tough week to see off Genoa via two first half goals to put the game to rest before half time. Catania fans will be worried following a poor showing on Sunday afternoon as they failed to beat fellow relegation candidates in what can only be described as a bore-draw. The Sicilians stand little chance against the reigning Serie A champions and I predict a home win.

Both these sides have had a decent start to their respective campaigns however both lost on their travels. Just two points separate these two sides and while Torino have a better strike force, Livorno should be able to hold out for a draw.

Sassuolo will be pleased to have secured an important away point against fellow relegation candidates Catania last weekend while Udinese were unable to take advantage of their numerical superiority when Roma visited Udine. Both sides have been far from spectacular this season with the visitors well below their usual best. Draw written all over it.

Roma fans will be in seventh heaven as they bragging rights as the most in form team in Europe. After being reduced to ten men the Romans still had enough to grab a last minute winner and have now scored a whopping 23 goals and conceded just 1 in their opening 9 fixtures. Chievo on the other hand could not have wished for a worse start as they lie in bottom place with just four points to their name. Easy home win predicted in this David vs Goliath fixture.
