Genoa vs Bologna
Genoa stood little chance at the San Siro as they struggled to compete against a superior Inter side and were lucky that the game ended just 1-0. Bologna pulled off the surprise of the weekend after they stormed to a 3-0 first half lead over top side Napoli and held on to a historic win despite a late Higuain double. These sides sit on equal points and I reckon a draw is on the cards.
Palermo vs Frosinone
Both these sides were trounced in their respective games after a series of good results in recent weeks, with Palermo losing 3-0 in Atalanta and Frosinone were beaten 0-2 on their home soil by a more experienced Chievo side. I am backing the home side to win this.
Sassuolo vs Torino
Sassuolo did very well to beat a struggling Sampdoria side on their travels to move up to 6th in the Serie A table. Torino also did well to frustrate a struggling Roma side as they took the lead in the 84th minute only to concede a late penalty. Undoubtedly an exciting contest which I reckon the home side can win.
Udinese vs Inter
After three wins on the trot Udinese were ripped apart by a superior Fiorentina side, while Inter, despite winning, will feel hard done by a number of referring decisions, including two harsh yellow cards on D’Ambrosio, a disallowed goal and a clear penalty not awarded. This will be a tight game for Mancini’s men which I will expect in a draw.

Milan vs Verona
Despite dominating for most of the game Milan failed to make the most of their chances and returned to the San Siro with just a point. Verona are one of the few sides in Europe who have yet to win a game this season as they lost at home to Empoli to remain rooted to the bottom of the standings. Home win expected.
Chievo vs Atalanta
In what can only be described as an incredible sequence of events, Chievo scored two goal in the 90th minute to secure three important points over Serie A newcomers Frosinone. Atalanta have now scored five goals in two games without conceding and will look to their maintain their positive run of form, however they face a tough test as they make the short trip East to Verona. I predict a score draw.
Empoli vs Carpi
Empoli climbed to 10th in the standings after a hard fought win on their travels to Verona and will be delighted with their current run of form. Carpi showed real fighting spirit to hold a toothless Milan at bay and earn a vital point, however the side from Modena have a lot more work to do if they are to avoid a quick return to Serie B. I am backing the home side to win this.
Napoli vs Roma
Sunday afternoon sees two of Italy’s top sides battle it out for three vital points as Napoli welcome Roma to the San Paolo in what is expected to be a cracking game. Both sides have been far from consistent this season, with Napoli beating Inter a few weeks ago only to lose on their travels to Bologna, while Roma have not won a game in their last three Serie A fixtures. This will be a close game packed with goals which I reckon the home side can win.
Juventus vs Fiorentina
The Old Lady seem to have found their feet following a poor start and have slowly chased down the leading pack above them, currently just six points from the top. La Viola got back to winning ways in style, after a number of draws, by pummeling Udinese 3-0 in Florence. I predict another superb game of football on Sunday night, packed with action, drama and goals.
Lazio vs Sampdoria
After a superb ending to their season, on which Lazio flew up the standings, almost qualifying for the Champions League in the process, Pioli’s men have struggled for form this seaon and linger among the bottom half of the table. Sampdoria are a similar story, after finishing among the top eight last season currently lie in 14th place. This is a must win for the home side.
