manchester united vs watford prediction

Fulham v Manchester City

Kick-off: Week 32, Saturday 30th March, 12:30

Fulham will go into this game knowing they have to win to keep any chances of survival alive. If they go on and lose this one, they may as well start packing there bags for the Championship. The side have had improvements since Scott Parker took over but will win still rare, Premier League survival looks bleak.

Manchester City, on the other hand, will know if they win the remaining games of the season, they will be crowned the champions yet again. They will definitely not be wanting to make any kind of mistake in this one and they shouldn’t really. Raheem Sterling has been getting a lot of praise for his performances and its obvious why. If he’s on his game, Fulham are in trouble.

For us, there is only one winner in this game. Manchester City have been performing at the highest   for a couple of seasons now and should not drop any points in this one.

  • Correct score prediction: Fulham 0 – 4 Manchester City
  • Odds: 16/1

Brighton v Southampton

Kick-off: Week 32, Saturday 30th March, 15:00

A huge game at the bottom of the Premier League for these two with both clubs still in danger of facing the drop with only a handful of games to go. Brighton come into this one having won both of there last two Premier League games which has put them in a good position, but a defeat here and they are back in trouble.

Southampton will be looking for nothing short of a win in this one. It’s not been the season they would have wanted and another relegation scrap certainly wouldn’t have been in the plans but with the quality this side have, they should be able to stay in the league along with Brighton come to the end of the season.

A tough one to call this but with The Saints showing some great results of late and players like Ward-Prowse and Redmond in form and Danny Ings coming back, they could get the boost they’ve needed.

  • Correct score prediction: Brighton 0 – 1 Southampton
  • Odds: 7/1

Burnley v Wolves

Kick-off: Week 32, Saturday 30th March, 15:00

Burnley are currently in a situation they wouldn’t have expected themselves to be in this season. Just two points above the bottom three and still in major danger of going down come to the end of the campaign. With the side suffering four defeats on the bounce, it’s hard to see them coming back from this but they must do and fast.

Wolves are currently 7th in the Premier League and if they can stay here, they could well be playing in Europe next season which would be a fairytale considering the club were in the Championship this time last campaign. It’s been a great season for the side and we think they may well be able to hold onto that 7th place.

With Burnley really struggling and Wolves having only one thing on their minds, we think this one could go in the favour of the visitors.

  • Correct score prediction: Burnley 0 – 2 Wolves
  • Odds: 8/1

Crystal Palace v Huddersfield

Kick-off: Week 32, Saturday 30th March, 15:00

Crystal Palace are another team who are still not safe with the side just five points above the bottom three. With the quality amongst the squad, it’s tough to see why they are in this position but they are and they must get out of it if they don’t want to be back in the Championship. With it being a home game, you can be sure the Palace fans will make it a hostile environment for the Huddersfield players.

Huddersfield look down and out and will be playing the remainder of this season for pride as they find themselves 16 points adrift of safety. It could only be a couple of weeks until that is confirmed if they don’t pick up any points soon which will be a sad day for everyone involved with the club.

With Huddersfield down and out, we can only see one winner in this one. Palace still have everything to play for and will do everything to win it.

  • Correct score prediction: Crystal Palace 2 – 0 Huddersfield
  • Odds: 11/1

Leicester v Bournemouth

Kick-off: Week 32, Saturday 30th March, 15:00

Leicester still have a very good chance of finishing 7th this season and with the new gaffer, Brendan Rogers, in control, there is a new feel to life at Leicester. Jamie Vardy looks as if he is really enjoying his football again which is meaning he’s scoring plenty of goals. When he is at his best, he would make it difficult for any team in the country.

Bournemouth to still have a chance for 7th but it’ll be very tough and could mean them having to win all of there remaining games which is unlikely. However, they are all but safe this season and will be happy with the progress they have made yet again. The Cherries are looking like a solid Premier League club now and rightly so.

A tough one to call this with both sides having very up and down form over the last few months. We think with Leicester being the home side, they should have enough to steal it.

  • Correct score prediction: Leicester 1 – 0 Bournemouth
  • Odds: 10/1

Manchester United v Watford

 Kick-off: Week 32, Saturday 30th March, 15:00

Manchester United have looked a different team since Jose left the club and Ole Gunnar Soljkaer took over. They have given themselves a huge chance of finishing in the top four now as well as getting into the quarterfinals of the Champions League after knocking out Paris Saint-Germain last round in spectacular fashion.

Watford will be eyeing up the 7th stop finish with the club just 1 point behind Wolves as it stands and ready to pounce when they get the chance. With us thinking Wolves are going to win, Watford will also need to win to keep the difference to a minimum. Troy Deeney is a huge threat for the side and loves scoring in the game against the bigger sides.

Although Watford are having an impressive season, we think they will come up just short in this one against an in form and confident Manchester United side.

  • Correct score prediction: Manchester United 3 – 1 Watford
  • Odds: 12/1

West Ham v Everton

Kick-off: Week 32, Saturday 30th March, 17:30

This is a huge game for both of these sides with the both of them still on the hunt for that 7th place finish and before this game being separated by just two points. A win for West Ham and they could climb up to 7th which would be a huge confidence boost and with Javier Hernandez in form, they have every chance of getting all three points.

Everton have had a very up and down reason but will be a lot happier with results and performances in recent weeks. After a bright start to life at Everton, Richardson had a blip midway through the season but has shown glimpses of quality of late which Everton fans will be glad to see.

Neither side has been able to put together a good run of results of late and both sides are very good if they turn up. With the Hammers being at home, we think they could get maximum points from this one, but only just.

  • Correct score prediction: West Ham 1 – 0 Everton
  • Odds: 6/1

Cardiff v Chelsea

Kick-off: Week 32, Saturday 31st March, 14:05

Cardiff need points and need them very quickly if they are to stay in the Premier League. They are two points adrift of Burnley and Southampton at this stage and will know they will find it tough to get anything from this one which could see them drop five points from safety. However, home form has been whats kept there dreams alive this season and they will feel they can get something from this one.

Chelsea have struggled to get any kind of consistency in their results since the beginning of the season and now find themselves in an uphill task to try and finish in the top four and secure Champions League football for next season. Like always, Eden Hazard has been the main man for Chelsea and will need to turn up in the remaining matches to try and push for fourth.

Cardiff will give it everything they have in this game and the Cardiff faithful will be right behind them. However, we still don’t think it’ll be enough for them to get anything from this one.

  • Correct score prediction: Cardiff 0 – 2 Chelsea
  • Odds: 10/1

Liverpool v Tottenham

Kick-off: Week 32, Saturday 31st March, 16:30

A huge game this with Liverpool trying to keep the pressure on Manchester City with another win in this one. The title is now out of Liverpools hands after four draws in five games in the last couple of months meaning the best they can hope for is to keep winning and hope City drop points at some point. This is a very tough one but if Mane, Salah and co turn up, they can beat anyone.

Tottenham will be desperate to spoil the party for Liverpool away from home in this one and will feel confident they can do so. Not only that, but Spurs also need the points to keep hold of there top four spot with a number of poor results of late making that look a bit harder to keep hold of. With Harry Kane back and fit, Tottenham will always have a chance.

A very tough one to call this between two very, very good sides. However, with Liverpool still fighting for the title and with the game being at Anfield, we can see the Reds getting all three points.

  • Correct score prediction: Liverpool 2 – 1 Tottenham
  • Odds: 14/1

Arsenal v Newcastle

Kick-off: Week 32, Saturday 1st April, 20:00

Arsenal managed to climb into the top four before the international break with a win over Manchester United which has given them a two-point gap over United and three points over Chelsea. There’s still a long way to go but they will be happy with the position they are in and will be desperate not to make any mistakes in this one to give the opportunity to others to overtake them.

With just one defeat in five, Newcastle have given themselves a huge 7 point gap between themselves and the bottom three which is a comfortable position to be in at this stage of the season. Toon will still be looking to get some more points on the board to secure safety but will be happy with where they’re at.

Arsenal will not want to make any mistakes in this one and really, we don’t think they will.

  • Correct score prediction: Arsenal 3 – 1 Newcastle
  • Odds: 16/1
