Leicester v Chelsea
Kick-off: Gameweek 25, Saturday 1st February, 12:30
This is a huge chance for Chelsea to close the gap on 3rd place this weekend with the gap currently a huge eight points. A defeat for Chelsea would make the task of coming third look very hard to reach. Leicester haven’t been up to normal standards the last couple of weeks but you just know that when they turn it on, they can go out and beat any team in the Premier League.
Correct score prediction: Leicester 2 – 2 Chelsea
Liverpool v Southampton
Kick-off: Gameweek 25, Saturday 1st February, 15:00
Southampton have been in fine form of late which has seen them climb way above the bottom three and now instead of looking at relegation, they have a glimmer of hope of getting into the Europa League. Liverpool will have other idea’s as they look to make it 25 wins out of 26 and keep the chances of becoming invincibles alive. With the season way past the halfway mark, they will feel confident they can make it happen.
Correct score prediction: Liverpool 2 – 1 Southampton
Manchester United v Wolves
Kick-off: Gameweek 25, Saturday 1st February, 17:30
Both sides come into the game on the same number of points, the only thing separating them two and Tottenham is the goal difference. With Manchester United at home with a fun ground and a new major signing in Bruno Fernandes, you’d expect them to put on a good show. However, Wolves don’t make it easy for anyone in this league and this season have given themselves the label ‘come back kings’.
Correct score prediction: Manchester United 1 – 1 Wolves
Burnley v Arsenal
Kick-off: Gameweek 25, Sunday 2nd February, 14:00
Although Arsenal have had a shocking season up to now. They find themselves just four points behind the likes of Tottenham, Manchester United and Wolves which gives them a glimmer of hope that they can make the Europa League spots come to the end of the season. Burnley have been in fine form of late, beating teams in the top six which has seen them jump away from the bottom three. A tough game for both sides this one.
Correct score prediction: Burnley 1 – 1 Arsenal
Tottenham v Manchester City
Kick-off: Gameweek 25, Sunday 2nd February, 16:30
Tottenham will know they have to win the majority of there games from now until the end of the season to get into the top four and this is not a game that will be easy for them to do that. Manchester City will know that winning the Premier League now will be all but impossible with Liverpool running away with it, 19 points clear. But they will not want to let go of second meaning they will play a strong side.
Correct score prediction: Tottenham 1 – 3 Manchester City
