West Ham Vs Manchester City
West Ham United moved into the Top 4 on Saturday evening following an impressive 3-1 victory at Burnley in Gameweek 8. The much ridiculed Sam Allardyce will take great pleasure from silencing the boo-boys who overshadowed the tail end of last season. The Hammers have won 3 of their last 4 but will face an in-form Manchester City who will be brimming with confidence following their 4-1 victory over Spurs last weekend. Sergio Aguero bagged all four goals at The Etihad and West Ham’s defence will need to be at their very best to limit the chances Aguero gets infront of goal. Narrow away win expected at Upton Park.
Prediction 1-2

Liverpool Vs Hull
Liverpool have not enjoyed the start to the season that many fans hoped for following their title charge last Season. The Reds sat mid-table as they kicked off on Sunday and their dramatic win at QPR saw them climb to 5th. The prolonged absence of Daniel Sturridge has hampered Liverpool’s ability infront of goal and Brendan Rodgers will be desperate to get the England man back to full fitness. Hull City picked up an excellent 2-2 draw at Arsenal in Gameweek 8. The Tigers were on the verge of an even better result until Danny Welbeck scored a late equaliser at The Emirates. Steve Bruce has done an excellent job this term and his side sit just one point adrift of Spurs and Arsenal heading into Gameweek 9. Home win expected at Anfield.
Prediction 2-0

Southampton Vs Stoke
Southampton gave the home fans plenty of entertainment at St Mary’s last weekend by beating Sunderland 8-0. The Saints never looked back after taking an early lead and boosted their goal difference significantly. Home form has been excellent for Southampton who have scored 14 goals in their last 3 home outings so Stoke have it all to do on Saturday. The Potters have had a mixed start to the Season but picked up an important win when they hosted Swansea on Sunday afternoon. Stoke have already claimed one big scalp on the road by picking up 3 points from their trip to Manchester City and will hope they can do the same on the South Coast. Home win at St Marys.

Sunderland Vs Arsenal
Sunderland were on the wrong end of the biggest thrashing of Gameweek 8 when they went to Southampton and lost 8-0. The Black Cats were unbeaten in four matches prior to the Southampton fixture and will look to bounce back immediately when Arsenal make the long trip to the North East. Gus Poyet’s side are unbeaten at home and have held both Manchester United and Spurs at The Stadium of Light. The Gunners were fortunate to escape their Gameweek 8 clash with Hull with a share of the spoils. It appeared as though Arsenal would lose the match until Danny Welbeck found the net late on. Arsene Wenger’s side have already fallen 11 points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea and must pick up maximum points from their trip to Sunderland. Score draw expected.
Prediction 1-1

West Brom Vs Crystal Palace
West Brom hosted Manchester United on Monday Night Football and came away with a share of the spoils. The Baggies must target games against fellow Relegation candidates to pick up points, particularly at home. Crystal Palace were unable to repeat the heroics they performed last season by beating Chelsea again in Gameweek 8. The Eagles were given a way back into the match when Chelsea went down to 10 men but the numbers were promptly levelled when Delaney was dismissed. Palace have now lost two on the bounce and could drop into the Relegation Zone if they lose at The Hawthorns. Stalemate expected.
Prediction 0-0

Swansea Vs Leicester
Swansea City returned from their Gameweek 8 fixture at Stoke empty handed and sit 8th in the Premier League table. The Swans had a blistering start to the campaign and need to hit a prolonged period of good form to keep pace with the leading pack. Sigurdsson has been very impressive for Swansea and will look to continue his form. Leicester went down 1-0 at Newcastle in Gameweek 8, their third game in a row without a victory. Nigel Pearson’s side could very quickly get sucked into the Relegation scrap below them and any points gained from their trip to South Wales would be a huge boost. Home win expected.
Prediction 2-1

Burnley Vs Everton
Burnley were on the wrong end of a 3-1 scoreline when West Ham visited in Gameweek 8. The Clarets have yet to pick up a victory this season and have lost two of their last three outings in the Premier League. Tough matches in the Premiership are relentless with Burnley facing Everton next. The Toffees beat Aston Villa 3-0 in Gameweek 8 and will be brimming with confidence heading to Burnley. Roberto Martinez will demand that his side put together a sequence of wins to propel them up the League table. Away win expected at Turf Moor.
Prediction 1-2

Tottenham Hotspur Vs Newcastle
Tottenham Hotspur have suffered a dip in form winning just 1 of their last 6 Premier League matches. Spurs went down heavily at Manchester City in Gameweek 8 and will look to put that result behind them when Newcastle visit White Hart Lane on Sunday. The Magpies picked up their first win of the Season against Leicester last weekend. That victory will be a huge boost to Newcastle and ease the pressure which has been mounting on Alan Pardew. Newcastle have struggled on the road this Season and Spurs will hope they can capitalise with a home win.
Prediction 2-0

Manchester United Vs Chelsea
Manchester United twice came from behind to register a point from their trip to West Brom on Monday Night Football. The Red Devils sit 6th in the Premier League heading into their huge match against Chelsea. Home form has been excellent of late with United picking up 3 wins from 3 at Old Trafford. Chelsea make the trip North top of the Premier League and full of confidence they can extend their unbeaten run. Costa remains an injury concern while Remy was forced off mid-week leaving Didier Drogba likely to step in. Rooney remains suspended for United with Azpilicueta absent for Jose Mourinho’s side. Entertaining score draw expected.
Prediction 2-2

QPR Vs Aston Villa
QPR fans went through the full spectrum of emotions as their match against Liverpool concluded. Rangers twice forced late equalisers only to end up losing 3-2 following a second own goal. Harry Redknapp publicly criticised Adel Taarabt for being unfit following the Liverpool match. The R’s sit bottom of the Premier League and desperately need a win to boost their confidence. Following an impressive start to the campaign, Aston Villa have now lost four Premier League matches on the trot without scoring a single goal. The Villains have faced tough opposition in Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Everton and will hope they can bounce back against lesser opponents in QPR. Home win at Loftus Road.
Prediction 1-0
