Manchester City Vs Everton
Manchester City were stunned when they visited Aston Villa in Gameweek 6, and despite leading twice they ended up losing 3-2. The Sky Blues will have been comforted by the fact that Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United all dropped points which leaves them 7th in the standings. The availability of Sergio Aguero remains unknown which could allow Edin Dzeko to start upfront. Everton are the only unbeaten team in the Premier League following their 3-2 win over Newcastle on Monday Night Football. Lukaku was the star of the show at Goodison with two goals and an assist. The City defence will need to keep the Belgian forward quiet at The Etihad.
Prediction 2-1

Cardiff City Vs Newcastle
Cardiff host Newcastle on Saturday looking to build on an impressive 2-1 win away at Fulham. Mutch scored a screamer late on to give Cardiff all 3 points in West London. Following a positive start to the season a win here could take Cardiff level on points with Chelsea. Newcastle failed to complete a remarkable comeback having gone 3-0 down at Everton in the first half. Despite two second half goals The Magpies left Goodison empty handed and Alan Pardew finds his side perilously close to the drop zone. The Geordies have lost two on the bounce and need to stop the rot to prevent finding themselves in more difficulty. Score draw expected.
Prediction 1-1

Fulham Vs Stoke City
Fulham manager Martin Jol seems likely to be the second managerial casualty of the season. Fulham are under new overseas ownership who will demand a positive campaign and so far, things have not gone well at Craven Cottage. One win from six matches is not a good return and pressure is mounting. Stoke had a disappointing result in Gameweek 6 losing to Norwich at The Britannia. The Potters are also struggling to find momentum this season and they are without a win in three matches. Mark Hughes will need to work hard to boost the morale of his players with their last visit to London being a 3-1 defeat at The Emirates in Gameweek 5. Bore draw.
Prediction 0-0

Hull City Vs Aston Villa
Hull City have had a great start to the season and are currently sitting in 8th place – Three points ahead of Champions Manchester United. Despite a difficult start to the campaign, The Tigers are unbeaten in three matches, winning their last two. Aston Villa produced a remarkable comeback which stunned Manchester City and lifted them to 9th in the standings. Villa should be given credit for sticking by Paul Lambert despite difficulties last season which seems to be paying dividends this term. The Villains have won two on the bounce but may find that a trip to Hull is a trickier fixture than it might look on paper. I expect a home win.
Prediction 1-0

Liverpool Vs Crystal Palace
Liverpool were able to pair Suarez and Sturridge upfront for the first time in the Premier League on Sunday and the results were devastating. Three goals and two assists between them meant The Reds ran out winners at Sunderland and are second in the table heading into Gameweek 7. That was the perfect response following their defeat at Southampton and Crystal Palace are the next side to face Brendan Rodgers’ side. The Eagles have a difficult task ahead and their away form has been disastrous. Zero points from three away fixtures and only one win in six overall leaves Palace 19th in the table. If Crystal Palace get a win at Anfield it would eclipse West Brom’s win at Old Trafford last weekend. Suarez and Sturridge to fill their boots.
Prediction 4-0

Sunderland Vs Manchester United
Despite a change in management Sunderland remain rock bottom of the Premier League. An improved second half performance saw The Black Cats score but they were unable to get anything from their Gameweek 6 fixture against Liverpool. Fixtures don’t get any easier for the bottom side in the Division as the Champions visit the North East. United have struggled with a difficult run of fixtures and have lost three of their opening six matches which is their worst start to a season in 24 years. David Moyes is under pressure to deliver results. Robin Van Persie should be fit to start this match and partner the in-form Wayne Rooney to provide United’s attacking threat. Away win expected.
Prediction 0-1

Norwich Vs Chelsea
Norwich secured three valuable points with a narrow 1-0 win at Stoke last weekend. The Canaries were in need of points following two previous defeats and that result moved Chris Hughton’s men to 14th place in the Premier League. Despite being in ‘crisis’ a week or so ago, Chelsea have regained their form in the league to beat Fulham and register a very acceptable draw at White Hart Lane. Jose Mourinho was of the opinion that Chelsea could have won at Spurs had Fernando Torres not been dismissed. With the Spaniard suspended Samuel Eto’o looks likely to lead the Chelsea attack at Carrow Road. Chelsea to stretch their unbeaten run to three matches.
Prediction 0-2

Southampton Vs Swansea
Southampton fans are living in dreamland right now. The Saints are 5th in the standings and are ahead of both Manchester City and United in the table. Rickie Lambert was on target once again against Crystal Palace as the Saints secured back to back victories. With only one defeat so far this term Swansea have a very difficult task ahead on Sunday. The Swans threatened to equalise late against Arsenal but came up empty handed. The introduction of Bony gave Swansea more attacking options and following an impressive performance the Ivorian is pushing for a starting place in Michael Laudrup’s team. Should be an exciting fixture at St Mary’s. I predict a score draw.
Prediction 2-2

Tottenham Vs West Ham
Tottenham Hotspur looked to have the better of Chelsea in the first half but were pegged back by a John Terry equaliser in their London Derby last weekend. Despite having a man advantage Spurs were unable to breach Petr Cech’s goal for a second time. Spurs have had a very solid start to the season and should get better as their new players gel into the team structure favoured by AVB. West Ham started brightly but are without a win since Gameweek 1. The Hammers are in free-fall and are just one point clear of the relegation zone heading into Gameweek 7. The prolonged absence of record signing Andy Carroll is surely having an impact on West Ham’s inability to score goals. Home win expected here.
Prediction 2-0

West Brom Vs Arsenal
The ‘Giant Killers’ of Gameweek 6 test themselves against the early pace setters when West Bromwich Albion host Arsenal at The Hawthorns. Berahino sent the away fans into ecstasy at Old Trafford as The Baggies shocked The Theatre of Dreams with an unlikely 2-1 victory. Steve Clarke has now guided his side to two consecutive wins having secured none in the previous four fixtures. Arsenal continue to lead the pack. With the exception of the opening day defeat by Aston Villa, Arsenal have a perfect record of five wins from five matches. Aaron Ramsey’s fantastic run of scoring goals continued against Swansea and the Welshman will hope to add to his tally on Sunday. Arsenal to make it six wins from six.
Prediction 1-3
