Swansea Vs Everton
A killer blow for Everton to concede in the 90th minute against Newcastle in a game in which they fully deserved the 3 points. Swansea on the other hand suffered their first defeat of the season to Aston Villa. At the Liberty Stadium they are a force to be reckoned with and they will come up against a good Everton side who might opt to start Victor Anichebe as a lone striker.

Wigan Vs Fulham
Wigan lost to Manchester United in the right manner playing attacking football and looking for opportunities, a trait that we have seen since the end of last season from Roberto Martinez’s men. Fulham have some fantastic players with their new signing Berbatov getting of the mark with 2 good goals . On form he is a fantastic player who is capable of scoring more than 20 goals in a season. This game has a draw written all over it.

West Ham Vs Sunderland
West Ham are still without Andy Carroll and secured a good point away to Norwich in their last league game. Sunderland also had a very good game at home by drawing 1-1 with Liverpool. In a game that may have gone against them they proved that they are a very good side with some talented players. This will be a close game but I fancy West Ham at home this season even without Andy Carroll. I see this game as a narrow win for the home side.

Chelsea Vs Stoke
A tough mid week Champions League fixture against Juventus saw Chelsea draw against the Italian Champions. They squandered a 2-0 lead and drew the game 2-2. In their last league game they also drew to a very good QPR side. That said however I fully expect Chelsea to win this game comfortably. Stoke held off a last minute onslaught from Manchester City last weekend to draw the game 1-1. This game has Chelsea written all over it.

West Brom Vs Reading
West Brom suffered their first defeat of the season away to Fulham. They lost 3-0 to an inspired Dimitar Berbatov. At the Hawthorns they are a very good side who beat Liverpool this season and I anticipate another victory for them here. Reading are in also need of some desperate points having picked up one point in their last 3 games. It will be a long hard season for Reading and I predict that they will suffer a defeat here.

Southampton Vs Aston Villa
Southampton are in desperate need of some important points. That said they have played Arsenal, United, and Mancheser City. Aston Villa at home is a game in which they would have highlighted as a potential 3 points. This will be a very close game but I think Southampton will edge it. Villa picked up a very important win against Swansea and they will fight to the end in this game.

Liverpool Vs Manchester United
Liverpool have had a poor start to their campaign under new manager Brendan Rodgers and have only gathered two points in their opening 4 games. One positive the red supporters could look too is the emerging talent of Jonjo Shelvey, who is already being described as the next Gerrard. Following an opening match defeat to Everton, United have started a good run of wins and are just one point behind league leaders Chelsea. Sir Alex’s team always seem to know how to grind out wins. This will be a close encounter between the two most successful teams in England which I predict will end in a draw.

Newcastle Vs Norwich
Newcastle showed great character at Goodison Park last week, with super-sub Demba Ba scoring twice to secure an important away point. Newcastle have really become a force to be reckoned with under Alan Pardew and at home should prove too much for the Canaries, who were one of last years’ surprise packages following their promotion to the Premier League. While you can be sure Norwich will not go down easily, the Magpies should take all three points at St.James Park.

Tottenham Vs QPR
Following a bad start to the season under AVB, Spurs finally won their first game of the season away to Reading and were unlucky not to win against Lazio in the Europa League following a number of controversial, disallowed goals. QPR held on to frustrate the European Champions and are looking alot more solid now that they have secured the services of goal keeping legend, Julio Cesar. This will be a tight affair, however Spurs should prove too strong in this London rivals.

Manchester City Vs Arsenal
City suffered the most cruel of blows in their midweek Champions League fixture against Real Madrid. They took the lead with 10 minutes to go only to concede two goals in the 87th and 90th minute to lose the game 3-2. This would have undoubtedly effected their moral. That said however their large squad will be able to cope with this and it will be a new team against Arsenal. Arsenal on the other hand left France with a fantastic victory and are also coming off a 6-1 victory over southampton. This will be a close game but I fancy City at home this season, and I am backing the home crowd to steer their team over the line.
