Arsenal Vs Manchester City

Following their opening day victory Arsenal have managed two draws away from home. The Gunners sit 7th in the Premier League heading into their Saturday lunchtime clash with Champions Manchester City. Manuel Pelligrini’s side were the victims of a shock result in Gameweek 3 losing to Stoke at The Etihad Stadium. Negredo has departed for Spain leaving City with 3 established forward players vying for a starting berth on Saturday. Arsenal picked up Danny Welbeck on Transfer Deadline Day to replace the injured Giroud while Ramsey is doubtful for this match. The home fans will hope Welbeck can fulfil the potential he has in an Arsenal shirt instead of a Manchester United one. Score draw.

Prediction 1-1

Chelsea Vs Swansea

Chelsea host the only other side in the Premier League with a perfect record from their first three fixtures – Swansea City. The Blues won an extraordinary encounter at Goodison Park despite some defensive howlers which almost let Everton back into the match. Fernando Torres has moved to AC Milan with Loic Remy brought in to fill the gap left by the Spaniard. Garry Monk has seen his side win three on the spin including a memorable win at Old Trafford in Gameweek 1. Nathan Dyer grabbed a brace last weekend and Chelsea will need to be aware of his threat. Diego Costa has four goals in three matches and I expect him to be among the goals if he shakes of a hamstring problem at Stamford Bridge.

Prediction 3-1

Crystal Palace Vs Burnley

Crystal Palace played out a remarkable 3-3 draw at Newcastle in Gameweek 3. Despite falling behind late on, The Eagles summoned their determination and grabbed a late equaliser through Zaha. Palace’s first point of the Season should give them huge confidence heading into Gameweek 4. Burnley visit Selhurst Park following their 0-0 draw against Manchester United. The Clarets sit bottom of the pile heading into Saturdays match and need to try and get results from fixtures against the smaller clubs in the division. Home win expected.

Prediction 1-0

Southampton Vs Newcastle

Southampton fans braced themselves for a difficult campaign following the departure of several key players over the Summer. In reality, The Saints have enjoyed a positive start to the Season including an impressive 3-1 win over West Ham in Gameweek 3. Morgan Schneiderlin seemed destined to leave Southampton after handing in a Transfer Request but bagged two goals last Gameweek. Newcastle United fans were on the verge of celebrating an excellent win from behind against Crystal Palace before Zaha snatched an equaliser. The Magpies sit 15th in the Premier League with no wins in their opening three fixtures. Score draw at St Marys.

Prediction 1-1

Stoke Vs Leicester

Stoke recorded the shock result of Gameweek 3 by beating Champions Manchester City on their own patch at The Etihad. The Potters will look to make it two wins in a row ย when newly promoted Leicester City visit The Britannia. The Foxes have been handed an extremely tough start to the season facing Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal in their opening three fixtures. Nigel Pearson has done an excellent job to engineer two points from the first three games and will hope to build on at when facing lesser opponents. Stoke lost their first match at home and will be keen to make visitors fear The Britannia once again. Home win expected.

Prediction 1-0

Sunderland Vs Spurs

Sunderland were unbeaten after two Premier League matches but succumbed to a 1-0 defeat at QPR. The Black Cats will hope the heroics they performed last season are not required to avoid the drop this time around. Spurs will make the long trip north following a disappointing 3-0 loss when Liverpool visited White Hart Lane in Gameweek 3. Spurs had won their opening two matches without conceding a goal and will want to get back to winning ways when visiting the North East. Away win expected at The Stadium of Light.

Prediction 1-2

West Brom Vs Everton

West Brom host Everton knowing that they occupy a place in the Relegation Zone heading into Gameweek 4. The Baggies have failed to score in either of their last two Premier League games and it is their lack of firepower which may lead them to struggle later this Season. Everton played out a hugely entertaining clash against Chelsea in Gameweek 3 but came out on the wrong end of a 6-3 scoreline. Samuel Eto’o bagged a goal against his former Club and looks like a shrewd acquisition by Roberto Martinez. The Toffees to register their first Premiership win this Season.ย

Prediction 0-2

Liverpool Vs Aston Villa

Liverpool recorded an impressive win at Tottenham Hotspur in Gameweek 3. The Reds have won two of their opening three fixtures and will hope to make it three wins from four when Aston Villa head to Anfield on Saturday evening. Mario Balotelli worked hard on his debut and will be required to lead the line as Daniel Sturridge is unavailable due to injury. Aston Villa have enjoyed a tremendous start to the campaign picking up seven points from a possible nine. The Villains have yet to face a team of Liverpool’s calibre and I expect a Liverpool win.

Prediction 3-0

Manchester United Vs QPR

Manchester United have endured a terrible start to Louis Van Gaal’s debut Season as manager with The Red Devils picking up just two points from three Premier League outings. United were unable to find the net against Burnley despite starting Rooney, Van Persie, Mata and Di Maria. Falcao has been brought in and will add to United’s firepower but the defensive problems remain unsolved despite Rojo finally being granted a work permit. Phil Jones has been ruled out through injury. QPR finally got off the mark last weekend with an important 1-0 win over Sunderland. Rangers will hope they can take advantage of United’s fragility at the back and emulate Swansea who left Old Trafford with a victory in Gameweek 1. Home win expected at Old Trafford.

Prediction 2-1

Hull Vs West Ham

Hull City have had a mixed start to the Season winning, drawing and losing in their opening three Premier League fixtures. The Tigers will hope the visit of West Ham will give them a chance to make it two wins from four matches. Jelavic has scored in both his previous outings and looks very sharp. The Hammers went down 3-1 against Southampton in Gameweek 3 and need to pick up points ahead of tough games against Liverpool and Manchester United in the next two Gameweeks. Kevin Nolan is ruled out through injury making life even tougher for Sam Allardyce. Score draw at The KC Stadium.

Prediction 1-1
