Manchester City Vs Stoke

Following their impressive win at Stamford Bridge at the weekend, Manchester City could only manage a draw when they visited Newcastle United midweek. The Blues have yet to wrap up a Top 4 finish and would love to distance themselves from Manchester United who have no Premier League fixture this weekend. Stoke have lost two straight games shipping 8 goals in the process. The Potters look sure of a Top 10 finish if they can avoid a capitulation in the next few weeks. Aguero has been red hot in recent weeks and Stoke will have their work cut out keeping the City forward quiet. Home win expected at The Etihad – Back a Manchester City victory here.

Prediction 3-1

Aston Villa Vs Southampton

Aston Villa will officially be playing Championship football next Season. A once proud Club has been woefully mismanaged and now faces a difficult path back to the Premier League. Five straight League defeats at Villa Park will lead Southampton to believe they can pick up three points from their trip to The Midlands. The Saints are in good form at present losing just one of their last five in the Premier League. European Football is a possibility if Southampton can pick up points between now and Gameweek 38. Away win expected at Villa Park – Back a Southampton victory here.

Prediction 0-2

Bournemouth Vs Chelsea

Bournemouth fans will be enjoying the climax of the Premier League Season knowing that their side are safe from Relegation and will be playing top flight football next term. The Cherries have hosted City and Liverpool in recent weeks but have lost both encounters. Chelsea are the next side to travel to the South Coast hoping to pick up three points. The Blues have lost two straight Premier League games including a disappointing 0-3 defeat when they hosted Manchester City in Gameweek 34. Incoming boss Antonio Conte will be evaluating talent at the Club which gives all players a great incentive to perform in the closing weeks of the Season. All square at Dean Court – Back a score draw here.

Prediction 1-1

Liverpool Vs Newcastle

Liverpool are in excellent form right now and could finish in 5th place if they maintain their winning run. The Reds have won three straight in the Premier League along with their memorable European victory over Dortmund. Sturridge is back among the goals at the perfect time with Origi facing an injury layoff. Newcastle claimed a point from the mid-week visit of Manchester City. The Magpies are just two points adrift of Norwich in 17th place and will still believe they can avoid the drop. Liverpool to continue their fine form here. Home win expected at Anfield – Back a Liverpool victory here.

Prediction 2-0

Sunderland Vs Arsenal

Sunderland knew they needed a result when they visited Norwich in Gameweek 34 and certainly delivered. An emphatic 0-3 away win saw them close the gap on safety and will have Big Sam believing that Premier League survival is a distinct possibility. Arsenal make the long trip to the North East following a 2-0 win over West Brom on Thursday evening. However, The Gunners were unable to secure three points against Crystal Palace last weekend which has seen their title ambitions further dented. Big game for both sides with ambitions at opposite ends of the Premier League. Away win expected at The Stadium of Light – Back an Arsenal victory here.

Prediction 1-2

Leicester Vs Swansea

Leicester finally saw their winning run come to an end when West Ham visited and almost picked up all three points. A controversial penalty awarded in stoppage time saw Leicester draw level and they now sit 5 points clear of Tottenham. The Foxes will be without suspended Jamie Vardy who saw red in the West Ham match. Swansea City have been in good form at home in recent weeks but have struggled on the road with just one victory in their last six away from home. Ranieri’s side will be keen to make amends for last weekends slip-up despite the absence of their star forward. Home win expected at The King Power Stadium – Back a Leicester victory here.

Prediction 1-0

Spurs Vs West Brom

Tottenham Hotspur took full advantage of Leicester dropping points by turning on the style when they visited Stoke on Monday Night Football. Spurs are just five points off the top and are full of confidence. Should Leicester slip up on Sunday Spurs will be ready to pounce. West Brom have been struggling in recent weeks with four defeats in their last five Premier League outings. The Baggies seem safe from Relegation despite their poor run of form. Berahino missed two penalties in the Watford game and will have a chance to showcase his talent infront of a potential suitor. Comfortable home win expected at White Hart Lane – Back a Spurs victory here.
