Tottenham Vs Fulham

Tottenham Hotspur are still in with a shout of Europa League football although this may hinder their progress in the Premier League next season. It seems inevitable that Tim Sherwood will be out of a job this Summer but he will want to bow out on a good run of form. Fulham make the short trip to North London on the back of two back to back victories which has given them a great chance of beating the drop. The Cottagers are 2 points adrift and need to try and pick up at least a point at White Hart Lane. Home win expected.

Aston Villa Vs Southampton

Aston Villa have been on a terrible run of form which has seen them lose four matches in a row. Paul Lambert’s side are only 4 points clear of the Relegation Zone and need to improve results quick if they are to avoid another nervous climax to the Premier League season. Southampton have had an excellent season despite some off-field issues which threatened to derail their progress. The Saints have struggled on the road lately losing three of their last four and Villa will hope this is an opportunity to get back to winning ways at Villa Park. Score draw.

Prediction 1-1

Cardiff City Vs Stoke

Cardiff have appealed to The FA over the leak of their team selection to Crystal Palace ahead of their match a few weeks ago. The Bluebirds bounced back from that defeat to win 1-0 at Southampton to give themselves a chance of avoiding the drop. Cardiff have shipped 9 goals in their last two home matches and need to tighten up at the back against Stoke. The Potters visit South Wales in great form having won four of their last five matches both home and away. With nothing but pride to play for Cardiff might have the psychological edge over their visitors. Narrow home win.

Prediction 1-0

Newcastle Vs Swansea

Newcastle United are in freefall and remarkably, some fans are calling for Alan Pardew’s head. The Magpies have lost four in a row but thanks to their form earlier in the campaign are still assured of finishing in the Top 10. Swansea visit the North East looking to put more distance between themselves and the Relegation Zone. The Swans have been in poor form lately particularly on the road but will hope they can get the upper hand against a Newcastle side who are struggling themselves. Home win at St James’ Park.

West Ham Vs Crystal Palace

West Ham United have weathered the storm and are now assured another season of top flight football. Sam Allardyce has guided his side to 11th place in the standings with games to spare. Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis is a challenger for manager of the season for turning around Palace’s season since joining the club. The Eagles were in desperate trouble when Pulis took over but are now sitting level on points with their hosts having won four matches on the trot. With both sides guaranteed Premier League football next term this could end in a draw.

Prediction 1-1

Chelsea Vs Sunderland

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho finally got a helping hand from the Premier League when this match was moved to Saturday to assist in the build up to the Champions League Semi Final. The Blues picked up an important win at Swansea last week without being at their best which keeps the pressure on Liverpool. Sunderland almost pulled off a huge shock by beating Manchester City at The Etihad. Mannone could have done better with Samir Nasri’s late strike which could have given Sunderland a chance of beating the drop. Chelsea will be ruthless and pile the pressure on Liverpool and City. Home win expected.

Prediction 3-0

Norwich Vs Liverpool

Norwich City lost a huge relegation battle at Fulham last weekend and the fixture list looks daunting over the next few weeks. The Canaries have recorded some big wins at Carrow Road lately but will need to pull out all the stops to pick up 3 points when Liverpool visit on Sunday. Brendan Rodgers see his side sit top of the Premier League having won 10 matches in a row. If The Reds win all of their final four matches they will be crowned Champions. Norwich have all to play for with their Premier League status on the line but will fall short against the League leaders.

Prediction 1-3

Hull City Vs Arsenal

Hull City welcome Arsenal to The KC Stadium looking to get the upper hand in the dressed rehearsal for the FA Cup Final. The Tigers won their last match at home and will look to register a psychological boost over their visitors who are struggling to secure a Top 4 finish. The Gunners were given a boost when Everton slipped up against Crystal Palace midweek. Arsenal can leapfrog the Toffees back into 4th spot with an away win at Hull with Everton facing a tough match against Manchester United. Arsene Wenger’s side to pick up a crucial 3 points.

Prediction 1-2

Everton Vs Manchester United

Everton suffered a shock defeat when Crystal Palace visited Goodison Park and left with 3 points. The Toffees will be desperate to bounce back as they could find themselves pushed down to 5th place in the standings depending on Arsenal’s earlier result. Manchester United have come back strongly since their 3-0 defeat by Manchester City at Old Trafford winning both games and scoring four goals in each. RVP remains sidelined which allows Moyes to play Rooney and Mata in their preferred positions provided Rooney is passed fit. This should be an exciting end to end match. Everton to grab an important win.

Prediction 2-1

Manchester City Vs West Brom

Manchester City were unable to beat bottom club Sunderland and in the end were somewhat fortunate to get a draw after a howler from Mannone the Sunderland goalkeeper. Manuel Pelligrini now knows his side are the outsiders for the Premier League title and could find themselves 10 points behind Liverpool if they win at Norwich. West Brom have been in decent form lately and are unbeaten in 3 League matches. The Baggies sit 3 points above the drop zone and need additional points to guarantee their safety. City will not slip up twice in a row and I expect a comfortable home win despite Yaya Toure sitting this out through injury.

Prediction 3-0
