Manchester City Vs West Ham
Manchester City have now officially conceded the title to Manchester United following their defeat at Spurs on Sunday afternoon. Mancini’s last task of the campaign is to ensure that City finish the campaign strongly and secure 2nd place. West Ham are in the top half of the table following a good run of form which has seen them go unbeaten in five league matches I suspect the unbeaten run will end on Saturday.
Prediction 2-0

Everton Vs Fulham
Everton lost away at Sunderland in Gameweek 34 and now seem to be out of the running for a Champions League berth next season. The Toffees home form is excellent and they can boast four consecutive league wins at Goodison Park in recent weeks. Fulham are one victory away from breaking into the top half of the table. Martin Jol deserves credit for managing a team with fairly average players to such a comfortable points tally. Home win expected at Goodison.
Prediction 2-1

Southampton Vs West Brom
Southampton fans will be grateful for and looking forward to another season in the top flight. The Saints have secured 39 points thus far and are within touching distance of the 40 point mark where clubs believe themselves to be safe from the drop. West Brom have Liverpool in their sights and will be keen to apply pressure to the Clubs above them in the table. The Baggies are without a win in four league games but Southampton have beaten Chelsea and Liverpool at St Mary’s in recent weeks. Score draw.
Prediction 1-1
————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
Stoke Vs Norwich
Stoke City gave themselves a huge boost with a crucial victory over fellow strugglers QPR on Saturday. Tony Pulis’ side are now on 37 points and one more win could be enough to secure Premier League football for another term. Norwich are two places and one point ahead of Stoke heading into Gameweek 35. Most pundits would have expected Norwich to be closer than Stoke to the foot of the table at this stage.
Prediction 1-0
————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
Wigan Vs Tottenham
Wigan Athletic are fighting for their Premier League survival once again. The Latics were beaten 2-0 at West Ham in Gameweek 34 and remain in the drop zone as a result. Tottenham Hotspur did their chances of a Top 4 finish the world of good by beating Manchester City at White Hart Lane. Despite going 1-0 down, a second half blitz saw Spurs bag three points and put themselves firmly in control of their own destiny this season. Wigan have won two in a row at The DW but may find Spurs too hot to handle.
Prediction 1-1
————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
Newcastle Vs Liverpool
Newcastle United are only 6 points ahead of Wigan in 18th and must secure another win to breach the 40 point barrier. The Geordies have enjoyed a torrid season compared to the heights they reached last term. Liverpool have been trying to control the PR disaster since Luis Suarez decided to help himself to a bite of Ivanovic at Anfield on Sunday. Liverpool will have to finish the campaign without their star forward and Newcastle will feel they can take advantage of Suarez’ absence.
Prediction 2-1
————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
Reading Vs QPR
The battle between the leagues bottom two clubs will probably only decide who finishes bottom of the table this season. Both Reading and QPR are certain to go down so have little to play for besides pride. Reading have only secured one point from a possible eighteen heading into Gameweek 35. QPR have lost four of their last five matches and I doubt this will be a memorable game for the neutral supporter.
Prediction 1-1
————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
Chelsea Vs Swansea
Chelsea were held to a 2-2 draw at Anfield on Sunday. Despite all of the negative press surrounding Suarez and the equalising goal, Chelsea may well have taken a point before kick off. Unfortunately for Chelsea, both Arsenal and Spurs won their matches in Gameweek 34 and the pressure is on for Chelsea to beat Swansea. The Swans have been on a poor run of form which has seen them go without a win in five matches. Due to their form earlier in the campaign Swansea remain in the top half of the table.
Prediction 3-1
————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
Arsenal Vs Manchester United
The pick of the weekend fixtures takes place at The Emirates when Arsenal welcome newly crowned Champions Manchester United. The Gunners have been in excellent form of late and have pushed themselves into 3rd place in the league as a result. Manchester United were crowned Champions on Monday night following their 3-0 win over Aston Villa. RVP bagged a hat-trick and can expect a hostile reception at his former home stadium.
Prediction 1-2
————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
Aston Villa Vs Sunderland
Aston Villa feature on Monday Night Football for the second week in a row hoping this match is more balanced than their last when Manchester United dismantled them and won 3-0. Villa will hope to move further away from the bottom three with an important win here. Paolo Di Canio has done very well since taking over at Sunderland. The new boss has won two matches from three and Sunderland are on the verge of safety. Entertaining draw.
Prediction 2-2
