Spurs Vs Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur picked up a very impressive 3-0 win at West Brom in Gameweek 23 to set themselves up perfectly for the North London Derby on Saturday. Harry Kane continued his fine form by bagging two goals and will be Spurs main threat going forward. Five Star Arsenal picked up a 5-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday to boost their confidence heading into the Derby. Santi Cazorla was their key man bagging a goal and two assists last weekend. The winner of this game will break into the Top 4 at least temporarily. All square at White Hart Lane.

Prediction 1-1

Aston Villa Vs Chelsea

Aston Villa are on a dreadful run of form which has seen them lose four Premier League matches on the trot. The Villains were dismantled when they visited Arsenal on Sunday and ended up on the wrong end of a 5-0 scoreline. Chelsea battled hard and overcame the absence of a number of key players to get a point from their crunch clash with Manchester City on Saturday evening. Diego Costa remains suspended while Fabregas should return to the Starting XI. Chelsea to get back to winning ways at Villa Park.

Prediction 0-2

Leicester Vs Crystal Palace

Leicester City are still rock bottom of the table having lost two matches in a row. Fortunately for The Foxes, several other sides have also lost leaving them just three points adrift of 17th place Burnley. Leicester have faced some of the toughest teams in the League at home and will fancy their chances of picking up something when Crystal Palace visit on Saturday. The Eagles’ honeymoon period under Alan Pardew came to an end when Everton stole a win at Selhurst Park in Gameweek 23. Palace have been impressive away from home and I fancy them to pick up an away win at Leicester.

Prediction 1-2

Manchester City Vs Hull

Manchester City gave their all but could not find a winner against a resolute Chelsea defence who were in mood to concede ground to their title rivals. Manuel Pelligrini’s side have picked up two points from a possible nine and need to get back to winning ways if they want to keep the pressure on Chelsea at the top. Hull well comfortably beaten by Newcastle in their Gameweek 23 clash. The Tigers have now lost three Premier League matches in a row and face a huge task on Saturday. Home win expected.

Prediction 3-0

QPR Vs Southampton

Queens Park Rangers maintained their dismal record of picking up zero points away from Loftus Road this Season. The R’s must improve on the road with a number of daunting home fixtures left on the calendar. Southampton suffered a shock defeat when Swansea picked up an unlikely win at St Marys on Sunday. Ryan Bertrand saw red in that game and will sit this match out through suspension. Harry Redknapp’s side have gone three matches without a win at home and need a win to drag themselves out of the bottom three. Home win expected.

Prediction 1-0

Swansea Vs Sunderland

Swansea picked up an important win when they travelled to Southampton on Sunday. The Swans appeared to have a tough task on their hands but came away from the South Coast with three valuable points to move to 9th in the Premier League table. Sunderland saw off Burnley courtesy of a 2-0 win at The Stadium of Light. Jermain Defoe was back on the scoresheet and Sunderland fans will hope that is the first of many goals in a Sunderland shirt. All square at The Liberty Stadium.

Prediction 1-1

Everton Vs Liverpool

Everton host Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby hoping to kickstart a Season which has been well below par by their standards. The Toffees sit 12th in the Premier League, 12 points behind their arch rivals heading into this fixture thanks to their 1-0 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday. Liverpool were finally able to welcome Daniel Sturridge back to the field following a series of injury problems and the England forward bagged a goal in their 2-0 win over West Ham. The Reds are in great form and I am backing them to add further misery to Everton’s season with an away win at Goodison Park.

Prediction 1-2

Burnley Vs West Brom

Burnley were beaten 2-0 at Sunderland in Gameweek 23 and will look to bounce back to winning ways immediately when West Brom visit Turf Moor on Sunday. The Clarets will be well aware that West Brom have struggled on the road lately and will look to capitalise on that. The Baggies were over powered by an in-form Spurs side and were unable to contain forward Harry Kane who helped himself to two goals. Both sides could do with a win to give themselves some breathing room in the Relegation battle but I can see this ending in a stalemate.

Prediction 1-1

Newcastle Vs Stoke

Newcastle United bounced back from two consecutive defeats to beat Hull City 3-0 away from home in the early kick off of Gameweek 23. The Magpies sit 11th in the Premier League and will be eying up a Top 10 finish this Season. Stoke continue to go about their business in typical fashion. A 3-1 win over QPR in Gameweek 23 saw The Potters move onto 32 points, two ahead of their hosts on Sunday. Stoke have won two of their last three away games and will pose a real challenge to Newcastle. Home win expected.

Prediction 1-0

West Ham Vs Manchester United

West Ham United were unable to match Liverpool on Saturday and ended up on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline. The Hammers face an equally tough fixture when Manchester United visit but will be boosted by the fact that they were able to beat Manchester City at Upton Park earlier this season. The Red Devils visit East London following a comfortable 3-1 win over Leicester City in Gameweek 23. Van Gaal’s side are unbeaten in six matches on the road and will not be turned over easily. Score draw expected.

Prediction 2-2
