Chelsea Vs Southampton
Chelsea overcame their disappointing defeat to QPR by knocking four past Stoke City at The Britannia. Demba Ba was preferred to Fernando Torres on Saturday and will hope to be included once again. Southampton were able to record a crucial win away at fellow strugglers Aston Villa. A dubious Rickie Lambert penalty was enough to move The Saints out of the bottom three at the expense of their opponents on Saturday. I don’t expect Southampton to record a second away win at Stamford Bridge.

QPR Vs Tottenham
QPR produced the shock result of Gameweek 21 to win away at Stamford Bridge. That amazing result moved them level on points with Reading who they now trail only by goal difference. Tottenham swept past Reading without the services of Gareth Bale who was serving a suspension. This match promises to be a great start to Gameweek 22.

Aston Villa Vs Southampton
Aston Villa were rewarded with a single point for their trip to Swansea in Gameweek 21. Villa need to keep accumulating points to keep themselves ahead of the relegation battle below them. Southampton were unfortunate not to bag all three points when Arsenal visited the South Coast. Only an own goal could rescue a draw for Arsenal and leave Southampton ruing what might have been.

Everton Vs Swansea
Everton quickly put the disappointment of defeat against Chelsea behind them and beat Newcastle away from home. David Moyes has guided his team to 5th in the standings and Everton continue to punch above their weight financially. Swansea will view the draw against Villa as two points dropped rather than a point gained given their home form. Should be an intriguing match but I am backing Everton to register three points here.

Fulham recorded an impressive win at West Brom in Gameweek 21. Berbatov was once again on target and The Cottagers will be pleased to have picked him up in the close-season. Wigan were put to the sword by Manchester United with Hernandez and Van Persie bagging a brace each. Fulham are without a home win since Gameweek 16 and need to get the victory on Saturday.

Norwich Vs Newcastle
Norwich and Newcastle were both on the wrong end of 2-1 scorelines in Gameweek 21. Norwich went down at West Ham which saw the East London team leapfrog them in the standings. The Canaries have lost four League games on the bounce and need to turn things around. Newcastle continue their campaign minus the services of Demba Ba. The Magpies will be keen for influential Cabaye to return to their squad.

Manchester United host Liverpool in a mouth watering clash on Super Sunday. The Red Devils welcome their arch rivals with a perfect record of 3 wins out of 3 in recent League games. Liverpool have won two matches on the spin by an identical 3-0 scoreline. Something has to give in this clash. While not being at their best, City have managed to keep the gap between themselves and United at 7 points. The Arsenal fans will be desperate to see their side defeat one of their ‘Top 4’ rivals. If Theo Walcott can reproduce his best form as he did against Newcastle then City are in for a long afternoon.
