West Brom Vs Fulham
West Brom left Old Trafford empty handed following Van Persie’s strike which put an end to their hopes of staging a late comeback. That said, 2012 was a very good year for West Brom who start 2013 in 7th place. Fulham were defeated at Craven Cottage in Gameweek 20 and will want to kick 2013 off the right way with a victory. The Cottagers have been dragged a little too close to the relegation zone for their liking. Unfortunately, West Brom have been extremely solid at home.
Prediction 2-1

Manchester City Vs Stoke City
Manchester City won a 7 goal thriller at Carrow Road by a 4-3 margin. Edin Dzeko was on target twice on Saturday and will hope to be involved once again. City have fallen 7 points behind United and cannot afford to concede any more ground to The Red Devils. Stoke fans will have been gobsmacked to concede 3 goals against lowly Southampton considering the amount of clean sheets kept at The Britannia. Only a Cameron Jerome rocket rescued a point for Tony Pulis. Home win looks likely here.
Prediction 2-0

Swansea Vs Aston Villa
Swansea recorded an impressive win at Fulham in Gameweek 20. Even the absence of forward Michu couldn’t stop Swansea bagging three points. Michu should be back on the team for the visit of Aston Villa. Villa were once again torn apart infront of their own fans and pressure is mounting on Paul Lambert and his young side. Wigan ran out easy winners at Villa Park and Villa are just one point clear of the drop zone heading into Gameweek 21. Home win to add to Villa’s misery here.
Prediction 2-1

Tottenham Vs Reading
Tottenham recorded a great away win at Sunderland as the Black Cats had been in good form recently. The afternoon was only tarnished after Gareth picked up a harsh yellow card which rules him out of this game due to an accumulation of 5 bookings. Reading gave their chances of survival a boost with an important win over West Ham at the weekend. Pogrebnyak was on target and those three points could be priceless in May. Even without Bale, Spurs should win this match.
Prediction 3-1

West Ham Vs Norwich
West Ham have lost two league games in a row and may have racked up a third defeat had their Boxing Day fixture not been postponed. Big Sam will be determined not to lose three on the trot when Norwich visit East London on New Years Day. Norwich have lost three in a row after coming up against Chelsea and Manchester City in recent weeks. The Canaries have dropped to 11th as a result of their recent run of form. Honours shared at Upton Park.
Prediction 1-1

Wigan Vs Manchester United
Wigan produced an excellent performance to defeat Aston Villa away from home in Gameweek 20. The three points moved Wigan ahead of Villa into 16th place and another 3 points would be huge for The Latics. Manchester United visit the DW Stadium having coasted to a 2-0 win over West Brom. Fergie was finally able to enjoy his side keeping a clean sheet with the previous lockout coming in Gameweek 14. Wigan beat United last season to avoid the drop against the odds. RVP to get on the scoresheet again.
Prediction 1-2

Southampton Vs Arsenal
Southampton produced a shock result to leave The Britannia with a point having scored 3 goals. Only a screamer from Cameron Jerome denied The Saints three crucial points. Arsenal visit the south Coast having played in the most eventful match of Gameweek 20. Theo Walcott bagged a hat trick with Arsenal scoring 7 against Newcastle at The Emirates. Walcott will surely retain his place upfront against former club Southampton. I expect an away win here.
Prediction 1-2

Chelsea Vs QPR
Chelsea start 2013 just four points behind Manchester City with a game in hand following a very impressive and somewhat fortunate victory over Everton on Sunday. Everton hit the woodwork several times before Frank Lampard scored twice and Chelsea escaped with 3 points intact. QPR were once again heavily defeated after going behind 3-0 against Liverpool at Loftus Road. There seemed to be a lack of urgency in Rangers play despite several clubs above them gaining points in Gameweek 20. Not expecting an upset at Stamford Bridge.
Prediction 3-0

Liverpool Vs Sunderland
Despite a bug forcing Brendan Rodgers missing the trip to QPR, Liverpool won 3-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Reds have moved up to ninth as a result of that victory and Suarez continues to be prolific infront of goal. Sunderland lost at home to Tottenham but have enjoyed a good run of late and have moved clear of the relegation zone to 13th place. Martin O’Neill will be keen to push on in the New Year and ensure that Sunderland are not dragged into any relegation battles. Suarez to score once again.
Prediction 2-1

Newcastle Vs Everton
Newcastle can consider themselves one of the unluckiest teams in the League having scored 6 goals in their last two fixtures and lost on both occasions. Speculation continues to surround the future of Demba Ba and he may not be in a Newcastle shirt for much longer. Everton were desperately unlucky not to get an equalising goal when facing Chelsea on Sunday. The Toffees lost ground on Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal in the hunt for a Champions League berth.
Prediction 1-1
