Arsenal Vs Southampton
A sole Danny Welbeck strike helped Arsenal record a big win away at West Brom in the early kick-off last Saturday enabling them to keep up the pace with their rivals for the Champions League spots. Arsene Wenger will be eyeing more success against a wounded Southampton. The Saints currently lie 3rd in the table and six points ahead of the North Londoners however, their form has dipped of late. A disappointing draw at lowly Villa followed by a crushing defeat at the hands of City has somewhat dampened the mood on the South coast. I’m backing Southampton to bounce back at the Emirates and therefore I’m going for an entertaining 2-2 draw.
Prediction 2-2

Manchester United Vs Stoke City
A convincing 3-0 win against Hull made it three consecutive wins for Louis Van Gaal’s Red Devils, who are beginning to look like the United of old. They still have a long way to go but it seems Van Gaal has found a winning formula despite a plethora of injuries. Robin van Persie has struggled for goals this season but reminded us all of what he is capable of with a great strike on Saturday and with Falcao returning from injury the future looks bright for United.
Prediction 2-0

Sunderland Vs Manchester City
Sunderland welcome the champions to the Stadium of Light and will be confident of a positive result after holding leaders Chelsea to a goalless draw in the previous game week. Following the 8-0 humiliation at Southampton a few weeks ago, Gus Poyet has worked incredibly hard on solidifying a fragile back four. They face another huge test against a City side who have scored six goals in their previous two outings.
Prediction 1-2

Burnley Vs Newcastle
Two of the Premier League’s in form clubs face off at Turf Moor with three points very much up for grabs. Burnley’s positive run, spearheaded by the red hot Danny Ings, has lifted them off the foot of the table giving them renewed hopes of league survival. Meanwhile, Newcastle’s incredible run of six straight wins came to a sudden halt at West Ham, a game in which Moussa Sissoko was dismissed. Alan Pardew will be keen for his troops to get return to winning ways on Tuesday night but I’m going for a draw between these two Northern sides.
Prediction 1-1

Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspurs
Chelsea dropped points for the third time this season against a spirited Sunderland side on Saturday Evening. Jose Mourinho will not be too disheartened and would be delighted with his sides points tally so far. Diego Costa will be a big miss but Didier Drogba has already proven that he is capable of making a difference at the top level. Jose Mourinho has an unbelievable record against the big sides and must have confidence in his sides ability to gain all three points. However, Tottenham Hotspurs played their best game of the season against Everton and will give league leaders a tough time if they show the same passion and organisation. Harry kane is the real deal and will be relishing the opportunity of playing a leading role in such an important tie. Additionally, Roberto Soldado has ended his goal drought and could be like a new signing for Spurs. I’m expecting a close game, but the quality of Chelsea will be too much for Spurs and they will get back to winning ways.
Prediction 2-1

Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa
Roy Keane’s departure from Aston Villa leaves them short of some well needed structure within their camp. Their indifferent form must concern Paul Lambert and he needs to inspire his side to dig in and start picking up some well needed points. Neil Warnock’s side recorded a satisfying draw against a confident Swansea side and will be confident of winning this tie. There is no doubt that Selhurt Park will be rocking, and Aston Villa might find it difficult to play against such incredible home support. I still feel that Aston Villa lack the experience to make the next step in the Premier League and I expect Crystal Palace to come out flying and win in front of their home crowd.
Prediction 1-0

Leicester City vs Liverpool
Brendan Rodgers looks like a lost man these days. Poor signings and the loss of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge have left them being a victim of their own success. Supporters are used to them smashing sides and challenging for the title again. However, in reality the quality of personnel is nowhere near the standard of Chelsea or Manchester City. Leicester City are finding it hard to cope with the demands of the Premier League. They can’t seem to win a game at the moment, their victory against Manchester United seems like a decade ago and they must start working hard to get themselves out of the relegation scrap. Liverpool will look at this fixture and hope they can regain some continuity, I’m backing a win for the away side, piling on the pressure on Nigel Pearson.
Prediction 0-2

Everton vs Hull City
Everton seem to be struggling from the demands of European football. Roberto Martinez feels his side should have earned a point at White Hart Lane as the referee overlooked a late penalty appeal. However, it would only have masked an Everton performance which lacked intensity for 90 minutes. Their one positive feature was Ross Barkley, who has the capacity to reach the top of English Football if he remains on the correct path. Steve Bruce will be disappointed with his sides start to the season, and a trip to Goodison Park will not be something he would have hoped for following their poor showing at Old Trafford. I expect Everton to bounce back from their disappointing trip to the capital and record a win against a struggling Hull City.
Prediction 2-0

West Bromwich Albion vs West Ham United
Sam Allardyce has won over the hearts of the East London side, adding pace and power to his side to create a formidable force who find themselves challenging for Europa League spots. Sakho and Valencia have been a revelation and Alex Song has been one of the signings of the season when considering he hasn’t cost West Ham a penny in transfer fees. West Bromwich Albion have struggled of yet but their performance against Arsenal was decent, almost nicking a draw late on. This must encourage Irvine’s men and they will welcome the Hammers hoping they can get some points on the board. I think West Ham have a new found belief this season, and I truly think they can pick up narrow victory on their travels.
Prediction 1-2

Swansea Vs QPR
After a great start to the campaign Swansea have won just twice in their previous eight league games. They were pegged back by Palace at the Liberty on Saturday and Gary Monk had some harsh words for his misfiring stars following the game. QPR came out on top in a roller coaster match at Loftus Road against Leicester but I’m backing Swansea for the win on Tuesday night with Wilfried Bony finding the back of the net once again.
Prediction 2-1
