Crystal Palace Vs West Ham

Crystal Palace remain rooted to the foot of the Premier League following their 1-0 defeat at Carrow Road. Tony Pulis takes charge of his first home fixture when Sam Allardyce and West Ham make the short trip to Selhurst Park. The Hammers matched their biggest win of the season with a 3-0 victory over a poor Fulham side at Upton Park on Saturday. Palace will take heart from their 0-0 draw against Everton at home last time out and will hope to gain at least a point on Tuesday. Bore draw.

Prediction 0-0

Arsenal Vs Hull City

Arsenal extended their lead at the summit of the Premier League with an impressive win at Cardiff. Aaron Ramsey was back on the scoresheet against his former Club with Flamini bagging the other goal. Hull bounced back and recorded a surprise victory over Liverpool on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers moved into 10th place following that impressive win. Steve Bruce has a huge job on his hands to mastermind a second consecutive win. Home win expected.

Prediction 3-1

Liverpool Vs Norwich

Liverpool conceded ground to their Top 4 rivals with a surprise defeat at Hull on Sunday. Luis Suarez failed to find the net and The Reds have now only won a single match from their last four outings in the Premiership. Norwich recorded an important 1-0 win over Crystal Palace to put some clear daylight between themselves and the Relegation Zone. The Canaries have lost their last 3 on the road and I do not see them leaving Anfield with any points.

Prediction 2-0

Manchester United Vs Everton

Manchester United twice came from behind to leave White Hart Lane with a point on Sunday. Wayne Rooney scored both goals and his form has been key to United’s unbeaten run. David Moyes welcomes his former club to Old Trafford for the first time looking for a win. The Toffees will be hoping Romelu Lukaku can maintain his impressive goal scoring form. Everton were comfortable 4-0 winners over Stoke on Saturday but will be tested far more sternly by the Red Devils. Home win at Old Trafford.

Prediction 1-0

Southampton Vs Aston Villa

Southampton took a very early lead at Stamford Bridge on Sunday but were unable to hang on and ended up on the wrong end of a 3-1 scoreline. The Saints have won their last 4 matches at St Mary’s and welcome Aston Villa who are not in tremendous form lately. Paul Lambert has seen his side win just once in their last 6 outings. Christian Benteke has failed to hit peak form since his return from injury. I expect Southampton to move onto 25 points with a home win on Wednesday evening.

Prediction 2-0

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Stoke Vs Cardiff City

Stoke were well beaten when they visited Everton on Saturday. The Potters have struggled on their travels while their home form has seen them go 3 matches without a defeat at The Britannia. Cardiff City were unable to pull off another giant killing when Arsenal visited South Wales. Malky Mackay saw his side outplayed by a slick Arsenal team. The Welsh side need to improve their form away from home if they want to remain in the Premier League. Score draw.

Prediction 1-1

Sunderland Vs Chelsea

Sunderland were able to register a point when they visited Aston Villa on Saturday. The Black Cats are still deep in the Relegation Zone and even a win over Chelsea would not move them out of the drop zone. The Blues came from behind to beat Southampton 3-1 at Stamford Bridge despite a disastrous start. Oscar was substituted due to injury and may miss the trip to the North East. A win here for Chelsea would see them secure their grip on 2nd place while keeping the pressure on Arsenal.

Prediction 1-2

Swansea Vs Newcastle United

Swansea faced Manchester City at The Etihad and were unable to break City’s dominance on home turf. The Swans improved upon City’s previous opponents by only going down 3-0. The Liberty Stadium has been a difficult place to visit lately with Swansea unbeaten in 3 matches at home. Newcastle moved to 6th place with a 2-1 win over West Brom at St James’ Park. The Magpies have now won 4 Premier League matches on the bounce but I expect them to take a share of the spoils at Swansea.

Prediction 1-1

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Fulham Vs Tottenham

Fulham were heavily beaten 3-0 at West Ham and Martin Jol was consequently sacked as Fulham manager. The Cottagers had previously recorded just a single victory from their last 6 Premier League matches before the change in management. AVB relieved some of the pressure surrounding his position with a much improved performance in the 2-2 draw against Manchester United. Spurs are still well off the pace and sit 10 points behind Arsenal heading into Gameweek 14. Away win.

Prediction 1-2

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

West Brom Vs Manchester City

West Brom went down 2-1 away at Newcastle in Gameweek 13 and are now without a win in 3 Premier League matches. However, The Baggies are unbeaten in their last 4 home games. Steve Clarke has his work cut out to record a win when the in-form Manchester City visit The Hawthorns. City have been in poor form on the road winning just one of their last six matches away from The Etihad. Manuel Pelligrini will need to ensure away form improves if City want to be title contenders in May.

Prediction 1-2
