Watford Vs Manchester United
Premier League action returns following the International Break when Watford host Manchester United on Saturday lunchtime. The Hornets saw their two game winning streak grind to a halt when they were defeated 2-1 at Leicester City in Gameweek 12. Watford have enjoyed a positive start to the campaign and sit mid-table heading into this game. Manchester United kept their fourth consecutive clean sheet in their 2-0 victory over West Brom last time out. The Red Devils sit just two points behind League leaders Manchester City and will be keen to pick up maximum points with City facing a tough match against Liverpool later in the day. Away win expected at Vicarage Road.
Chelsea Vs Norwich
Chelsea needed the International Break more than most following their third consecutive Premier League defeat at Stoke in Gameweek 12. Jose Mourinho needs his side to hit the ground running when they return to Club action against Norwich on Saturday. The Blues sit just three points clear of the Relegation Zone and one point behind their guests heading into this fixture. Norwich managed to put an end to their losing streak when they beat Swansea in their previous Premier League outing. The Canaries face an uphill struggle against a Chelsea side desperate to get back to winning ways. Home win expected at Stamford Bridge.
Everton Vs Aston Villa
Everton picked up a 1-1 draw at West Ham in Gameweek 12 to consolidate their position in the top half of the Premier League table. The Toffees demolished Sunderland 6-2 in their last match at Goodison Park and will hope to defeat an Aston Villa side who are rock bottom of the Premier League table. The Villains got off to a good start under new manager Remi Garde holding Manchester City to a 0-0 draw at Villa Park. Villa still have plenty of work to do as they remain 5 points adrift of safety. Home win expected at Goodison Park.
Newcastle Vs Leicester
Newcastle United have seen their fortunes improve in recent weeks and will hope the International Break has not interrupted the momentum they were gaining in previous weeks. The Magpies picked up their first away win of the Season at Bournemouth in Gameweek 12 but face a tough task when high-flying Leicester make the trip North. The Foxes have been in terrific form and sit 3rd between Arsenal and Manchester United in the Premier League table. Ranieri’s side are unbeaten away from home this Season and Newcastle will struggle to break down this Leicester side. All square at St James’ Park.
Southampton Vs Stoke
Southampton were in excellent form prior to the International Break and will be keen to pick up where they left off. The Saints have not conceded in either of their last two Premier League outings and will be tough to beat on home soil. Stoke are also in good form and have picked up seven points from a possible nine in their last three fixtures on the road. A big win over Chelsea in Gameweek 12 will give Stoke plenty of confidence heading to the South Coast. Home win expected at St Marys.
Swansea Vs Bournemouth
Swansea lost two on the bounce heading into the International Break and will hope to regroup before their clash with Bournemouth. Garry Monk has seen his side fall down the table with just one win in their last eight in the Premier League. The Swans will hope to take advantage of a Bournemouth side also struggling. The Cherries have lost four matches in a row including two consecutive 5-1 defeats courtesy of Manchester City and Tottenham. The loss of Callum Wilson has been difficult to overcome and Bournemouth sit in the Relegation Zone heading into Gameweek 13. Home win expected at The Liberty Stadium.
West Brom Vs Arsenal
West Bromwich Albion lost their second match in a row when they visited Old Trafford in Gameweek 12. The Baggies face another tough assignment when Arsenal visit The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon. With just a single win from their first six home fixtures Albion fans will be fearing the worst. The Gunners sit top of the Premier League form table with five wins and a draw from their last six fixtures. Arsene Wenger’s side are joint top of the Premier League and will want to take maximum points from this game with City facing a difficult game against Liverpool. Away win expected at The Hawthorns.
Manchester City Vs Liverpool
Manchester City host Liverpool on Saturday evening in the pick of the Gameweek 13 fixtures. City were unable to break down a resolute Aston Villa side in Gameweek 12 and conceded two points to Arsenal who closed the gap at the top of the Premier League. Manuel Pelligrini’s side have been in good form at home winning three in a row at The Etihad Stadium. Liverpool have got off to a mixed start under Jurgen Klopp. The Reds were beaten 1-2 infront of their home fans by Crystal Palace last time out and will be keen to bounce back immediately. Away games don’t get much tougher than trips to City. Home win expected at The Etihad.
Spurs Vs West Ham
Tottenham Hotspur sit 5th in the Premier League following their 1-1 draw with Arsenal in Gameweek 12. Spurs have played some excellent football lately and have only been defeated once this Season. West Ham United make the short trip to North London following their draw with Everton in their last Premier League outing. The Hammers are surprising many this Season and sit level on points with their hosts heading into this Gameweek 13 clash. Harry Kane is back among the goals and West Ham will need to keep a close eye on the Spurs forward if they want to get anything from this match. Home win expected at White Hart Lane.
Crystal Palace Vs Sunderland
Monday Night Football returns with Crystal Palace hosting Sunderland at Selhurst Park. The Eagles picked up a terrific win at Liverpool in Gameweek 12 and will be keen to push on and register back-to-back victories. Sunderland won the Derby against Newcastle but have since lost both Premier League games to leave themselves loitering in the Relegation Zone. Big Sam may have taken on his biggest challenge to date to keep Sunderland from going down this Season. A heavy 6-2 defeat in their last away game will give Crystal Palace confidence that they can pick up three points here. Home win expected at Selhurst Park.
