Arsenal Vs Fulham

Arsenal will have been disappointed with their mid-week result having led 2-0 before ending with a share of the spoils in Germany. The Gunners are already 9 points off the pace and can afford to drop no more points. Fulham are currently level on points with their hosts and a win would see them leapfrog Arsenal. Walcott to find the net here.

Prediction 2-1

Everton Vs Sunderland

Fellaini was the Everton hero last weekend when they secured a 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage. The Toffees return to Goodison Park when Sunderland visit on Saturday. Sunderland were involved in a shock result last weekend slipping up at home to strugglers Aston Villa. Martin O’Neill will want to get back to winning ways but a trip to Everton is no easy game. Fellaini to be among the goals again.

Reading Vs Norwich

Reading remain in the relegation zone following a 1-1 draw with fellow strugglers QPR last weekend. The visit of Norwich gives Reading an opportunity to close the gap on the clubs above. Norwich have reached a tally of 10 points following a crucial 1-0 win over Stoke at Carrow Road. Another 3 points here would see Norwich climb 8 points clear of danger.

Southampton Vs Swansea

Southampton manager Nigel Adkins is coming under increasing pressure with his side sitting bottom of the division 5 points adrift of safety. Results need to turn around fast if The Saints are to avoid an immediate return to The Championship. Swansea fought back to earn a point against Chelsea which was thoroughly deserved. Lambert anytime scorer.

Stoke Vs QPR

Stoke were defeated in their last outing and Tony Pulis will be determined to get back to winning ways when QPR visit The Britannia on Saturday afternoon. Rangers drew 1-1 to keep them in the relegation zone and Mark Hughes has once again been given the backing of owner Tony Fernandes. I cannot see QPR getting any points from this game.

Wigan Vs West Brom

Wigan provided the shock of the weekend with a 1-0 victory at White Hart Lane on Saturday. That result left both AVB and several accumulator bets less than amused. The Latics have won 2 in a row and welcome West Brom to The DW. The Baggies recorded a routine 2-0 win on Monday Night Football but this will be a sterner test of their credentials. Kone to score anytime.

Aston Villa Vs Manchester United

Aston Villa recorded an impressive win away at Sunderland last weekend. A far tougher assignment awaits this weekend when Manchester United arrive at Villa Park. United won their Champions League fixture midweek and will hope no fatigue creeps into their game. A win here would stretch their lead at the top before City and Chelsea play on Sunday. RVP to score yet again.

Manchester City Vs Tottenham

Super Sunday kicks off with a huge game at The Etihad Stadium. Manchester City were held to a 0-0 draw by West Ham and also drew on Tuesday night thanks to some dubious refereeing in the Champions League. Spurs slipped up at home to Wigan and a defeat here could leave Spurs 10 points off the leaders should United win at Villa Park. City’s home form has been strong despite not playing as well as we know they can. Tevez to score anytime.

Newcastle Vs West Ham

Newcastle will have been pleased to leave Anfield with a 1-1 draw having lost Demba Ba to injury and Captain Coloccini to a red card. The Skipper will start his suspension when West Ham visit St James’ Park on Sunday afternoon. The Hammers could and should have beaten Manchester city only for a legitimate goal to be disallowed. Both clubs will be keen to extend a positive start to the season.

Chelsea Vs Liverpool

Super Sunday turns it’s attention to Stamford Bridge for the pick of the weekend fixtures. Chelsea host Liverpool in a game which should be a real treat for the neutral fan. Chelsea have started the season very well and have been playing some lovely stuff courtesy of Hazard, Oscar and Mata. A last second winner on Wednesday night will have given Chelsea a massive boost. Liverpool are well off the pace already and a defeat here would emphasise how far down the pecking order they have fallen. Suarez scored a sublime goal last weekend and he must be on top form again if Liverpool are to leave West London with any points.

Prediction 3-1
