Norwich Vs Southampton

Norwich were well beaten by Manchester United in their previous outing. The Canaries must now turn their attention to the visit of struggling Southampton on Saturday. Norwich are 8 points clear of danger and surely one more win will be enough to see them stay up. The Saints have lost their last two matches including a disastrous 2-1 defeat by bottom club QPR at St Marys. I expect a home win which will leave Southampton looking over their shoulders.

Prediction 2-1

QPR Vs Sunderland

Queens Park Rangers bagged a huge 3 points and welcome Sunderland to Loftus Road hoping to make it two wins on the trot. Rangers moved themselves just four points adrift of safety with a great win at fellow strugglers Southampton. Sunderland were able to draw against Fulham but have lost their last 2 away fixtures in the Premier League. Momentum will be with Harry Redknapp’s side and I expect QPR to move onto 23 points with a victory here.

Prediction 1-0

Reading Vs Aston Villa

Reading host Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon in a potential 6 point relegation clash. Reading and Aston Villa both occupy relegation berths heading into Gameweek 29. The Royals home form has picked up but they lost their last game at The Madejski 2-1. Aston Villa have not travelled well recently and are without a win on the road since their victory at Anfield before Christmas. I expect this match to end in a draw which could leave both teams struck in the relegation zone.

Prediction 1-1

West Brom Vs Swansea

West Brom had won two consecutive games before their defeat at Stamford Bridge in Gameweek 28. The Baggies sit 9th in the table and can leapfrog their opponents Swansea with a win at The Hawthorns. Swansea have bagged the first silverware of the season and will be high on confidence. However, The Swans have lost their last two away matches in the Premier League and will need to improve if they are to get anything from this match.

Prediction 1-0

Newcastle Vs Stoke

Newcastle United will need to recover from their Europa League match against Anzhi quickly as they welcome Stoke to the North East for a Sunday afternoon clash. The Geordies did well to keep the wealthy Russians off the score sheet and Ben Arfa missed a glorious chance to score. Alan Pardew is seeking his third consecutive home win in the Premier League. Stoke have not travelled well recently and unusually find themselves in the bottom half of the table. I predict a home win here.

Prediction 2-0

Liverpool Vs Tottenham

Liverpool welcome Spurs to Anfield in what is the pick of a limited Gameweek 29 calendar. Brendan Rodgers appears to be getting the most from his squad and The Reds have not given up hope of landing a Top 4 berth. Suarez will be crucial to Liverpool’s hopes after bagging a hat trick last weekend. Tottenham will need to recover quickly following their Europa League clash with Inter on Thursday night. Bale was on the scoresheet yet again and Liverpool’s defence will need to be at their very best to keep Bale at bay.

Prediction 2-2
